Great house for a few families or a group of friends

  • 5 of 5

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Bo's house. We love this house. It is a short walk to the base of the mountain, has lots of bedrooms, has always been clean and has 2 generous living areas, including a fantastic fireplace. Bo has always been very helpful. He answers emails quickly and both times has let us check in early so we can leave our luggage in the house and get an extra day on the slopes.

I thoroughly recommend this house.

Great experience

  • 5 of 5

The house was exactly as described. Owner was very communicative and had everything we needed for 3 families (plus grandparents - total of 9 adults and 9 children). Location was great to get to the mountain, including a small bus that can ferry skiers/snowboarders to the mountain every 5-10 minutes. It helped that there was a big snow storm during the trip which made the skiing incredible. Children loved playing and hanging out in the house and sleeping in the bunk bed room. Would highly recommend this home for a gathering of 15-18 people.

Cozy and convenient!

  • 5 of 5

We were in town for a wedding on the top of the mountain and this home could not have been more perfectly suited to our needs. Our group of ten were very comfortable and the house was situated perfectly. We were able to walk to all of the festivities in just a couple of minutes. I was not in the house much as I had to be at a lot of the wedding activities, but the others report that they went hiking and generally had a great time.

Thanks again for letting us stay!

Stratton Vermont

  • 5 of 5

It was a very nice stay at this cozy house. The house has two stories, three bedrooms on the upper/ground level (king ensuite, queen, two twins) and two bedrooms on the lower level (actually three bedrooms, but one room was locked for the owner's own use. Queen ensuite and two bunk beds). It would be most comfortable for 12-13 people but can stretch to 16-17, depends on how the group is formed. My group had a total of 15 people from five families, a little squeeze as we tried to have everybody slept in a bedroom...

The house is very tidy and kitchen is well equipped. When I said "well equipped" I mean it! There were many things/tools/pots my group brought ended up continue storing in the boxes because you can find similar things/tools/pots in the kitchen, and some are even more! The owner Bo was very responsive! Any question you have, you called, he would get back to you soon. The lower level has a family room with a bar table, small ping pong table, and wii, perfect for children to have their own entertainment area (my group had 7 kids ranging from age 5 to age 16). The house is all carpeted but the front entrance has mudroom area, so you can leave your shoes out and walk comfortably in the house.

One can take note of the description on the house and take references on other reviews to get a good picture of the house. Overall, it is a great house situated on a great location.

Convenient and newly renovated! Skiers' dream

  • 5 of 5

With 2 other families we spent the weekend in this lovely, convenient house right outside Stratton village. It's literally less than 5 min walk to the village; 1-2 min walk to ski shuttle stop.

We had 10 adults and 8 kids in the group, 6 bedrooms were divided perfectly. Older boys loved sleeping in the room with two bunkbeds. Our bed was very comfortable. Everything is newly renovated, new bathrooms, fresh paint and new carpet. Large deck right off dinning area so our large group can spread out around dinning table and deck with plenty room.

Parking is right in front the house, off street. We drove 4 large SUV/Minivans, the parking lot is large enough to park one more SUV with ease..

The house is setup for skiers with bench and storage area right after walking in, perfect to store your equipments and change boots before going out! We will be back this winter when the mountain opens for skiing!
