A cottage full of surprises, grazing livestock, lovely rural views and a reviving spa pool.
The location of house was easy to find and it was near to Muriwai Beach. It was good to see the plain spread behind the house.
A beautifully decorated historic cottage, loved the spa pool, the sheep, the surprise continental breakfast provided. A really good value, quiet, peaceful place to come for a retreat. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The place was kept tidy and had a great traditional but modern feel to it. The highlight was coming back to a relaxing hot spa each night while watching the sheep in the neighbouring paddock.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone. We loved the homely feeling and the accomodation was clean, homely and neat. What a wonderful farm experience.
Comfortable cottage with heaps of character and a really nice rural aspect. The lack of a sink took a bit of getting used to (you can leave your dishes out for the hosts to put through their dishwasher), but the spa pool was really appreciated at the end of a long day. The breakfast stuff was a good bonus, and the bed was very comfortable.
Nice bathroom. Nice area of New Zealand. Just a short distance from her are some great scenic areas of farmland that don't have the typical signs of man that a lot of the North Island has.
