This newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home in Magnolia. The king-sized bed in the master bedroom sleeps 2, and the bunk beds + trundle in the other bedroom accommodates 3 (great for kids). There is also a queen size air mattress that sleeps 2 which is available in the hall closet. The living room has plenty of natural light. On a honeymoon? Enjoy romantic sunsets from the spacious front porch. Or visit Pike Place Market in the morning and grill your find on the back deck under string lights in the evening! Like most Seattle homes, this one does not have a/c. However, fans are available to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.
This location makes for a fabulous retreat for families (walk to park, playground & pool) or business travelers! It’s just steps to the village, which has great options for dining, coffee shops, shopping, and more. Some well-known eateries in the area such as The Walrus and the Carpenter (Seafood), Red Mill Burgers, and Chinook’s (brunch) are just a few suggestions out of the dozens of options you will have. On the other hand, you could pack a picnic to enjoy along one of Discovery Park’s many beautiful trails. There is a bus line with stops just 4 blocks away which offers easy access to downtown, the viaduct (airport), the waterfront, and cruise terminals.

A wonderful place to stay!!!! We came to Seattle with our 3 young kids to watch 2 evening Blue Jay games. Priority for us was to find a place that was clean, with comfortable beds and had safe transit (especially for coming home late at night after the games). This home provided all of what we needed. The home is very clean, and cute and bright. The beds were AMAZING -- all of them. We typically don't sleep well in beds that are not our own but found that the king bed and single beds were both very good quality and comfortable. As far as transit, we took the bus transit to and from downtown and were very pleased with how safe we felt even travelling home between 11-12 pm. Many on the bus were baseball fans so that made it even more relaxing but being that we were traveling to Magnolia (one of the safest parts of Seattle), I don't expect that I would ever feel unsafe on this bus route. Finally, we needed groceries on the night that we arrived and my husband went out to the 24hr grocery store (about 5 min from our house) at 12:30pm. He felt so safe and was so impressed with the grocery store in this area. It made for a perfect morning to wake up to his groceries in the fridge to make breakfast and eat in the beautiful back yard. This home is definitely the highlight of our trip. Thanks again for an AMAZING stay.
Nicely appointed house with lots of great touches (my kids LOVED the DVDs in "their" room) and a very well supplied kitchen. Large, lovely deck out back is great for hanging out when the weather permits. Walking distance from the Village, farmer's market and Mounger pool in one direction and Metropolitan Market in the other. The property management is super responsive and quick to answer any and all questions. Only quibble is the towels are awful - tiny and rough, and the front walk is super steep (driveway) or steps with a higher than average rise. Wouldn't have been an issue except I recently had knee reconstruction, making the walk up and down a little challenging.
We were very pleased with our stay in this beautiful home. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. We were traveling with a 6-year old who was absolutely thrilled to be able to sleep in the top bunk! The backyard and the deck are AMAZING! We ate dinner and/or played games out there every night. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet retreat after a busy day of sight-seeing. We would absolutely stay there again!
We had a lovely stay at this home. It was such a comfortable, well-equipped rental. With a 3-year-old in tow, being just a few walkable blocks from the public pool was such a treat as well. Great location, easy to check-in/out, has everything we needed! Can't ask for more!
This property is exactly as described-very clean with more than adequate supplies-in all rooms. Great wi-fi. beds were comfortable, with nice linens. Any questions or concerns we had were immediately answered via email.
Magnolia is a charming village-good restaurants, shops and fun place to walk around. Easily accessible to downtown Seattle.
We enjoyed a Pike Place Market food tour by Savuer tours. Have been to market many times, but this gave interesting info about history and they took us to great restaurants. Also took a fun tour of Underground Seattle at Pioneer Square. We took a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island-went to Bloedel Reserve-a lovely arboretum.
It did not effect us, but it would be helpful to include in your property description that the house is not handicap accessible.
I would highly recommend this property
We had a very pleasant stay here. All the necessities were there, all appliances worked, and the home was neat and clean. The deck is a fine place to have dinner. The commercial area of Magnolia including grocery is within walking distance, but it's towards the outer limits of that distance. Park and playground in close walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Better shopping options a few minutes away in Ballard. Be aware that the property is on a steep lot, and it will be a climb from the street to the front door.
