Since 1000 years this place has hosted all kinds of visitors, pilgrims and travellers in the high middle ages, on the way of Saint James or to pray on the tomb of Saint Gery for founding of the Episcopal city of Cambrai and Builder of the first Church in Brussels.
This mansion of the 18th century, part of the property of the Church, was transformed into brewery after the French revolution the interior decoration carried out by a Flemish architect in 1890 to restored summer with care by the current owners.
