Stayed here with a group for ice fishing. Had a hiccup with the house that the property owner went above and beyond to get resolved. The house was everything we needed and then some. Had a great time. Will definitely be back. Thanks!

About the host

Host profile image
Jamey has been coming to this lake since she was a little girl. Her parents eventually purchased property on the lake and would come up quite often year round. After we were married and moved to CA we would send our boys back here for most of the summer. They really enjoyed spending their summers fishing with papa and grandma. After papa developed Alzheimers, they could no longer take care of their property. That is when we decided to purchase our own place on Lac Vieux Desert. Now our grandchildren are coming back in the summers to spend time with us. The tradition continues!

Why they chose this property

We immediately fell in love with this property because of its location. We are surrounded by the Ottawa National Forest. It is very secluded and is the perfect antidote for our busy life. Starting with the 8 mile drive down Indian Village Road, our stress level begins to diminish by the mile. When we pull into our driveway we feel like we have arrived in paradise.

What makes this property unique

Privacy, tranquility, & seclusion. Lots of room inside and out. Lakefront with sandy beach and beautiful views. Surrounded by the majestic Ottowa forest.
