Lovely 1- Bedroom 4th Floor Apartment With Large Balcony + Table Mt Views.

This lovely apartment has been newly transformed to take full advantage of the prime location and views towards Table Mountain from the 4th floor.

This private apartment in The Rockwell is lovely and sunny in winter, yet cool and eternally livable in the summer. With a Balinese daybed and a coffee table outside, this apartment is all about making the most of Cape Town and the outdoors.

The air-conditioned interior in shades of black, white and green is cool and crisp and beautifully complements the Rockwell’s 1900s New York inspired architecture. The clean design makes full use of the interior space and flows easily on to the balcony area.

There is a full kitchen and a washer and dryer to provide all the conveniences of home. The apartment also has an espresso machine and an iPod/iPhone/iPad/Samsung phone/tablet dual docking station.

The Rockwell complex was inspired by the early 1900s architecture of Manhattan, and is surrounded by delightful sidewalk restaurants, bars, art galleries and quaint boutique shops. The complex has a stunning seven story interior atrium and luxurious fittings throughout. It also boasts a gym and an indoor, heated pool.

De Waterkant is the trendiest neighborhood in Cape Town and one of the most exclusive. The apartment enjoys an enviable location in the heart of the city without actually being in the CBD. From the apartment, you can easily walk to most major attractions of Cape Town. The CBD is just a couple of blocks, The V&A Waterfront (shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and Robben Island) is only minutes away, and there's an excellent supermarket across the road.

The CTICC (Convention Center) is nearby and there's very easy access to the highway. You can easily walk to the new Cape Town Stadium and Cape Quarter’s lively restaurant and café scene is just one block away.

If you have a car, the apartment has an assigned, underground secure car parking space with lift access into the building. Security is of the highest standard at the Rockwell with 24hr security and a 24hr staffed front desk.

WiFi is included. It's fast, fibre internet access.

The apartment is privately owned and is managed by a high-end corporate agency who only deal with luxury rentals. They will meet guests on arrival at The Rockwell and do all possible to ensure your stay in Cape Town is amazing. They also provide a complimentary weekly housekeeping service.

I'm more than happy to offer guests tips on the area and can recommend some amazing restaurants (that you'll need to book ahead for).

* Please note that this is a private apartment in The Rockwell building and is not part of the Rockwell All Suites Hotel. As a private resident you are invited to use the pool, gym and restaurant and bar, but bills cannot be charged to the room.

I'm an Australian girl who had been coming to South Africa since 1994 for many, many trips. Finally decided that I might like to spend some more time here. I figured a year maybe. But that was more almost 8 yrs ago :)

When in CT, I like to take advantage of the awesome food and wine, and the outdoorsy lifestyle which is so like my hometown (Sydney). The beaches are beautiful (but the water is way too cold for me), and there are some stunning drives nearby.

Other than that, I love to grab my tent and pop off and explore Southern Africa. (Namibia is gorgeous, Kgalagadi is my favourite area and Zambia is on the bucket list)

I love it when people come to South Africa and Cape Town (especially for the 1st time) and are 'converted'. They're a little dubious before their trip... but then they always get slammed by the "Africa bug" and are hooked.

Why Jenny Andersen chose De Waterkant

I purposely chose De Waterkant (and especially The Rockwell) as it has such an awesome location. As a foreign girl on my own, I was a little anxious at first. But there are so many great cafes, shops, restaurants, bars etc within a safe walking distance - that this was perfect. And the Spar (supermarket) across the road is fantastic.

I've had an apartment in this building since 2009, but bought this one (and 1 other) in 2013. I didn't even consider anywhere else!

I had a great time doing them up, playing with the décor and getting them right for my guests... with things that I would like in my home.

What makes this apartment unique

Promise the apartments are really great. And you just can't beat the location.

I use a property management company who are extremely professional. So even if I'm not in town, you'll have someone 'on call' 24/7.

I have a little 'scribble doc' with loads of the things that I like to do in and around CT. I usually just send it to friends coming over - but I'll happily share it with you. It's just a mix of touristy and local things that I like to do. It might give you a few ideas of things to do.

A well-appointed modern apartment in a perfect location if you want to be a short walk from De Waterkant and CBD. From the balcony you can see the Table Mountain – great spot for a glass of wine before heading to the town.

Jenny was a perfect host. I have not met her in person but she was amazingly efficient in communicating by email and provided all the information about the apartment.

Nice place to stay

The apartment is very nice. We stayed for a week and enjoyed our time here. The apartment is within walking distance of many attractions and is across the street from a grocery store. Getting rides through Uber was very convenient to and from the Rockwell. Thank you Jenny for the use of your lovely apartment.

This is a lovely, clean, well-run apartment with everything you need in a great central location. There are a number of great restaurants in the building and plenty more a short walk away . You cannot go wrong, highly recommended.

Always great

This is the newest of Jenny's apartments. I travel to Cape Town regularly and I've now stayed in them all. All are great, and communication with Jenny is always speedy and excellent.

This apartment has a stunning view of Table Mountain. I just wish I could spend more time gazing at it, rather than working.

This apartment is very stylish and (as they all are) was spotless. The newly installed fibre internet worked really well.

Extremely happy

This apartment is exactly as advertised, clean, tidy and in perfect condition with an excellent view of Table Mountain. We stayed for five nights and jenny provided all the required info we needed, she also responded quickly with my emailed questions. Key pick up went perfectly with Jenny's representive meeting us on our arrival at the entrance lobby. Grocery shopping at Spar is literally 2min walk from lobby and carries a pretty much anything needed for your stay. Highly recommend this stay and would loved to stay again. Thanks Jenny.
