About Jerry Murdock

Jerry and Tina Murdock and their sons built this Cabin for travelers to enjoy the Canyonlands area. We are the proud parents of many children, and even more grandchildren. We love riding ATV's and Jeeps on the trails, mountains, and canyons in the area. You will love it too!

Jerry Murdock purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Jerry Murdock chose Monticello

This cabin has a full kitchen and living room/dining room areas along with plush sleeping areas. We are centrally located among 12 National Parks and Monuments. This beautiful cabin is secluded, quiet and private, yet is accessible to the highway for easy visits to sites of your choice, or just relax on the covered patio and enjoy the scenery and quiet. The sunrises and sunsets here are spectacular, and the star gazing is out of this world. You are sure to enjoy the cabin and all of its western luxuries.

Thank you,

Jerry and Tina Murdock

Guestbook comments from the manager

I travel a lot for work, but was blessed enough to experience this beautiful place for a weekend in mid Jan. Of course, it's snowy and cold, but that's the perfect picture for the classic cabin life.. right? I loved being in this warm cabin while looking outside at the snow falling.. Well, even if you're looking for a place in the warmer seasons, this is your place. It's quiet, beautiful, located close to so many attractions, cozy, relaxing, just what the doctor ordered. There are multiple sized cabins for just the right small and/or large family.. Oh, plus Inja and Boots (the owner's dogs) are wonderful! This is the perfect getaway.

Perfect for 4 adults and our dogs. It was warm, cozy and had everything we needed. Great location for our base camp as we explored Canyonlands and other National parks/National monuments in the Utah/Colorado area. Easy access even on a snowy winter weekend.
