we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family of 26 ages 3-72 for a week at the spacious 5 bedroom 3 bath Blue Mountain Lodge near Blanding, Utah. Every feature of this spectacular lodge surpassed our expectations including the view. The great room features a magnificent collection of wild animal taxidermy mounts and furs. The kitchen is well equipped and large dining tables are inside and on the huge veranda. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms adequate. Master bedroom and bath very spacious. Great room served us well for movies, games and family celebrations. We are world travelers and this was the best vacation experience of our 50 married years. We all participated in mountain biking, river rafting, hiking, repelling, jeeping and visiting National Parks and Monuments,
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lodge. It accomdates a lot of people. It is very well supplied with every thing you need. Our stay was blessed with a huge snow storm and some very cold days. So we mostly stayed in and enjoyed one another's company. It was a family reunion for us. We do a lot of cooking and eating. The staff is very accomdating to our needs ( like getting stuck in a snow bank, more than once or twice)
I would highly recommend this place, it's lovely.
If you haven't seen this you need to. If I could live in this lodge I would it was so beautiful. The view was amazing and I loved the decorations. We all were in awe the whole time. I was like a kid in a candy shop.
