The cabin was just fully remodeled a little over a year ago and sits right on historic Penns Creek. Penns Creek is known for its green drake hatch, Penns Creek fly fishing and trout. The cabin is two stories with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is an outdoor patio with fire fit. There is a carport and shed for storage along with fully remodeled kitchen with new appliances. The cabin is a short drive from Penn State University, Woodward camp/cave, Penns Cave, Bucknell University, Susquehanna University and the Susquhanna River. There are many attractions within the area including a winery not too far away. This is a family oriented cabin and not a party house. If you wish to kick back and have a couple of drinks enjoy, however loud unruly parties will not be tolerated.
My name is Franklin Reber. My wife Theresa and our children Derek and Brittany have spent all our lives enjoying the beauty and recreation of Penn's Creek. We purchased this property as a home away from home. I was a Construction contractor for 28 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University as well as a Masters in Education. I am currently employed as an Instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology. My wife Theresa has been a licensed beautician for more than 30 years. My son and daughter are both Penn State Graduates as well. Our daughter is now teaching in Phoenix Arizona and working on a Masters degree at Arizona State. Our son works through Career Link to help youth from several school districts find future careers.

We have been looking for an affordable property on Penn's Creek for more than 20 years. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting along the creek and listening and watching both the wildlife and water. My son and I have fished Penn's Creek since we were both old enough to walk. My entire family canoed these same waters over that span as well as hiking to the tunnels.
We have worked hard to offer a clean safe rental. A place to relax and collect your thoughts or enjoy the outdoors. This cabin is not and will not be tolerated as a party house for immature individuals.
Guys weekend enjoyed our time at this recently updated/renovated house. The modern upgrades and tile showers impressed our group. Large kitchen and living area on first floor along with large enclosed screen porch and patio with fire pit. Great location for hiking, biking, boating, and fly-fishing.
Small towns nearby, wineries, and other attractions such as Woodward and/or Penn's Caves. Penns' Creek in back yard. Penn State/State College is 45 minutes. Group would come back again and/or bring families.
The cabin was very nice. It was room and cozy for the time of year we were there. The pellet stove help make those cold night very comfortable. The three bedrooms provided plenty of beds and room for sleeping. If the weather had been warmer (It was really nice but it was Thanksgiving so it was a little chilly to have a campfire) the outdoor campfire pit and enclosed porch would have been really nice!
This cabin was much more than the "hunting cabin" we were all expecting. It was very spacious, very clean, and made for a perfect relaxing weekend!
This is my second time staying at this cabin. I came here for a guys fishing weekend and definitely plan on coming again! This place is right on the water and in a great location. The cabin is kept spotless! The owner is a great guy and easy to get in contact with. The stamped concrete patio is awesome! The fire pit on the patio is a great place to sit around at night. I will be back next year!
How could you miss with Penn's Creek gurgling by? Ceiling fans in every room. Spacious rooms. Glorious screened porch. Quiet location. We biked 2 miles to covered bridge. We used Ranck Road not Creek road. Take some DVD's. The creek was relaxing. You can rent kayaks in Penns Creek. We visited Woodward Cave. Fire ring off patio. Lots of shade. Room for everyone. Nice drive to stores. Carriage Corner restaurant in Mifflinburg.

This cabin on Penns Creek is amazing! It is only 18 miles from Bucknell University, an easy half hour drive away for my sons graduation weekend. We had 3 families; 3 couples and 4 children and everyone had their own comfy beds to sleep in. The house was big enough for everyone and the grounds were BEAUTIFUL! The creek was right in front of the home and had the most gorgeous view, it was such a peaceful setting, especially when you're sitting on the patio or in the enclosed porch. The children had a blast fishing and exploring nature, and my dog was in heaven just running around with them. At night we would sit around the huge fire pit (plenty of firewood provided!) drinking wine and eating s'mores. We were also able to cook full meals in their kitchen and the property was well stocked with cooking utensils, fishing rods, toiletries, towels and linens. I feel lucky to have found this property and will definitely recommend it to all my friends! Thank you to the Rebers for being such great hosts!
This beautiful cabin is about 30 minutes away from Woodward cave and Penns Cave. It is about 45 minutes away from Penn State University and a short travel for home football games. The cabin also sits about 30 miles away from Bucknell and Susquehanna University and the Susquhanna River. There are many attractions and activities within the area like the tunnels at Cherry Run and Coburn.
