My sister and I stayed for a week in this amazing house. Gyna met us when we arrived, and gave us the grand tour. She is charming, and welcoming. Everything needed for our comfort was provided. If you are going to stay in Quebec City, look no further. This house is secluded, quiet, and perfect for a lovely get away from the business of life.

A treasure of a vacation home...comfortable, peaceful, and close to so many things!

  • 5 of 5

Our family absolutely loved staying in this home. We look forward to coming back. The house is well maintained, well-equipped, and in the perfect surrounding: on the bank of a peaceful river. For the same price of a mid-range hotel, we got so much more room to relax, cook, and enjoy peace and quiet. The grill and fire-pit were awesome to have available on those summer nights. The home is close to some excellent hiking trails and lots of sightseeing in nearby waterfalls, Old Quebec City, and St. Anne de Beaupre shrine. We were also ~35 minutes to Jacques Cartier National Park which offered some impressive hiking trails. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing but the best!

Tranquil Setting by the River

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we walked through the front door, we were blown away by the beauty and peaceful setting of this home. As soon as you step foot in the home, you can see the beautiful river and mountain out the back door...beckoning you to the deck to just relax and enjoy. It was a wonderful place to "live" while we enjoyed all the surrounding sights and activities. Very close to Quebec City, Montmorency Falls, Ile d'Orleans, Wendake, and so many other fun places to visit. Josee and her sisters are so kind, welcoming, and helpful. It was difficult to leave such a lovely vacation home behind. We definitely want to return to enjoy the hospitality and beautiful area again.

Beautiful home on river

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home in June 2016 and had the most relaxing vacation. The location was close to Old Quebec City, amazing biking paths, Montmorecy Falls, St. Anne de Beaupre Cathedral and Laval University Botanical Gardens as well as many other points of interest. After spending wonderful days enjoying these sights we chose go back to the house and cook dinner rather than go out to eat because the evenings were so peaceful dining on the deck looking over the river and everything you could possibly need was right there. The house was very clean, well stocked in the kitchen, and all the rooms were extremely comfortable with beautiful furniture and lovely decorations and paintings which we noticed were painted by our host Josee (a very talented artist). I would definitely recommend Josee's beautiful home for a wonderful, relaxing vacation!

One word: fabulous

  • 5 of 5

My family and I (4 guests total) stayed in this fabulous home for a week this April, and we would all highly recommend this property (and go back !). Our stay was everything we were hoping for, as the description is absolutely accurate. The property was perfectly clean and highly welcoming. Sainte-Brigitte de Laval is a perfect location, offering the best of both worlds: 20min drive from Old Quebec, 10min from Beauport, with all the local amenities (supermarket, pharmacy, post office etc). The customer service was impeccable - thank you to Josee for her remarkable approach and availability !
