Stay Alfred was founded based on the idea of offering innovative, reliable, and consistent short-term vacation rentals at a price that's affordable, while making booking, checking-in, and checking-out quick, easy, and stress-free. Booking the perfect stay shouldn't feel like taking a shot in the dark. At Stay Alfred, we know that guests prefer accommodations that are straight-forward and stress-free.
The location is fantastic, the view is phenomenal and the facility was clean and inviting. I will DEFINITELY be staying here again on my next visit to Seattle. Totally recommend this facility!
Unit was very new and rooms were clean. Situated in a good location close to space needle and pike place. definitely recommend this to anyone who are visiting seattle.
My wife and I along with another couple rented this property for a week. The location is spectacular as well as the views of Puget Sound. Very modern, clean and comfortable. The unit er rented was #802 on the top floor. The deck shown in the photo was directly across the hall. In the evenings we would sit out and enjoy the sights and sounds and a nice Washington wine. The unit is not air conditioned but it is equipped with a portable air conditioned which is sufficient. If I was to make one suggestion it would be to add televisions in the 2 bedrooms. With only 1 TV in the unit it limits viewing choices for the group.
We had high hopes for both Stay Alfred and this condo in Seattle. Unfortunately, both fell short. The building is cool looking but it is not a great place to be in my opinion. The walk to Pikes Place is doable, but it is definitely a trek. And I am a gym rat. We were on the fourth floor and were shocked by the noise (it is one-way street) as it was way worse than expected (and YES - I knew I was booking downtown). It is a mostly residential property and further out than we had hoped. Definitely no night life within walking distance. We walked to dinner and shopping each night but it was not a short walk by any means. 26,000 steps a day in fact.... There were many broken items in the condo (the shades continually fell off the windows onto the bed, the sink was plugged in both bathrooms and wouldn't drain....) and there wasn't a great selection for a weekly or weekend rental. No coffee filters for coffee. No soap for washing dishes, etc.... Definite wear and tear on all surfaces, and seemed run down. It was also very difficult to get a hold of anyone from Stay Alfred. Bummed as we are traveling to Nashville next month and were going to use them again but won't now. The customer service just isn't what it should be.
The Art House was nice but the condos facing the street are VERY LOUD!! No sound proofing at all! Bring ear plugs if you have issues with noise while sleeping. Also, there could be blackout blinds/ curtains on the windows instead of cheap verticals. However the condo was clean and updated. The roof top patios are very nice with beautiful views. The kitchen has cooking stuff, but not spices. I would not stay at Art House again.
