Would highly recommend this property for a little getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The surrounding area is beautiful and close to many natural hiking trails. The cabin is equipped with everything you might need for a few days stay! Owners are friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful cabin in a picture perfect mountain setting!
Lynn met us at the cabin and got us settled in and did not miss a single detail....a very relaxing and enjoyable visit to the mountains!

Very beautiful and peaceful place!
This is the 3rd time I've left a review...it was awesome...
Cozy quarters with a breathtaking view overlooking a state park.
I would highly recommend this property. The cabin is cozy and has a romantic feel. The view is priceless—you are on a mountain and looking over other mountains ithat are part of a stare park. There’s a waterfall right out your back door, and plenty of places to sit/lounge and to breathe it all in. At night it lights up with fire flies and you have all of the amenities to grill or roast hotdogs over an open fire to get a camping experience. There are a few hikes and park opportunites close by, and good restaurants relatively close too. Chattanooga is about 30min but the drive goes quickly because it is beautiful all the way. Lynn is really sweet and takes you through everything so you feel at home. The place is in top shape, and you can tell there is a lot of love that goes into it. There is also some info on the area’s history in the cabin that we enjoyed reading together. I would definitely come again. I thank the Sheltons for sharing their gorgeous property and for their hospitality!
Thank you so much for the kind review and for choosing Hemlock Falls LLC for your getaway! Our hearts overflow with joy when we hear our guests talk about their adventure and relaxing time at the cabin. You are the reason we try so hard. Hope you will come again soon!

When I was researching a place to plan my elopement, I came across the most beautiful property that had a unique rustic cabin, EXACTLY what we had wanted. When I contacted Lynn, she was nothing short of amazing! We live in south Georgia and knew we wouldn’t be able to visit the venue before the elopement. Lynn helped me through the whole process (flowers, cake, picture locations, etc) and I give her all of the credit of how smooth and perfect our big day went! When my fiancé and I arrived, we were in awe of how perfect it truly was. Lynn and Jimmy greeted us with open arms and made us feel right at home! We enjoyed the night before our wedding on the back deck listening to the waterfall right out of the cabin door! The next morning, we explored and hiked to Foster Falls (less than 2 miles from the property) and finished by eating a delicious breakfast at T’s Diner! When we returned, Lynn and Jimmy spent the afternoon helping us get all of our ducks in a row for the ceremony. Wes and I got ready in the rustic cabin, and at 4:00 we were married on top of the Tennessee mountaintop at Hemlock Falls LLC, with Jimmy and Lynn in attendance of course :) I couldn’t have imagined that moment without them! I thank God I came across Hemlock Falls LLC and crossed path with the 2 most amazing people, Jimmy and Lynn Shelton! I look forward to MANY a more trips to Hemlock Falls! You can’t beat this place, this scenery, and these hosts!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I will begin by saying that "LOVE" never looked so good on any couple that I have seen! It is for sure a love that will last a lifetime. Ashlyn was a joy to work with from the first phone call and when Wes arrived he was just precious! We could not have been more proud if they were our own children. We were so excited to be included in this union. They treated us like part of the family and we can't wait to make everything special for their 1st anniversary!
