Quiet getaway

  • 5 of 5

Lynn met us at the cabin to show us around. She provided us with a helpful notebook that had local attractions and restaurants. The cabin was very private. It had a gorgeous view. We checked in on a day that it was 80° so we enjoyed sitting on the deck. The next day it was cold so we visited the Grundy county museum and the Dutch maid bakery in Tracy City. We enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace that night. We had a great time and plan to return.

Owner's Response: Debbie, You guys were wonderful guests! You mentioned something during your stay that I plan to explore for future guests. You visited the Swiss Colony in Gruetli Laager where some of the Swiss settled. Hope I am correct on this. Anyway, I plan to put this information in our attraction book. Thank you for choosing Hemlock Falls for your stay and please come visit us again! Lynn &Jim

We had a wonderful stay at Hemlock Falls Cabin. Incredible view, 2 "private" waterfalls, cabin that was spotless, hosts that were incredibly nice and accommodating. We will be back soon and often!!!

So relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

I have been to several cabin rentals for a relaxing weekend that were ok, sometimes very nice but never as relaxing as my stay here this past weekend. The view was wonderful and made me feel like I was far away from everything (although I really wasn't). Then was surprised to hear a waterfall just outside our cabin. There couldn't have been a more relaxing sound. But then the beautiful fireplace and roaring fire kept us inside more than we thought it would. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for bringing the extra firewood!

Wonderfully cozy cabin with a beautiful view! Can't wait to go again.

  • 5 of 5

We had a perfect birthday weekend getaway at Hemlock Hills. The cabin is authentic and beautifully restored. It sits on the perfect spot overlooking Firey Gizzard, where the sun sets. The bed was so comfortable and every detail has been thought of to make their visitors' stay comfortable. An easy drive to antiquing and hiking but we preferred to stay inside in front of the fire all weekend. Loved every minute of our time there!

Absolutely Amazing

Can't say enough about this property. From the minute I arrived to the day I left I was sure I had landed on something special. I even looked online the day I left to see if I could rebook the place for the holidays.
