Best vacation cabin that we have been to.

  • 5 of 5

It was amazingly beautiful. The cabin is gorgeous, cozy and extremely clean. We have been to other cabins and hotel rooms and they were always a bit dirty. This cabin is awesome. The owners are excellent. They were so nice and were always caring for us. The bluff and the waterfall were outstanding. It was very peaceful. This would be a great area for meditation if that is what you do. The only thing that we didn't like much is that the cabin was a bit cold. When the temperatures plummeted, the heater would blow in hot followed by cold air. We had the fireplace, heater and portable heater on and it was still a little bit cold. The floors were cold(I wore warm slippers) and we could feel a little bit of a draft from the windows. The owners provide blankets and electric blankets so these may help. I don't discourage you from visiting the cabin just for that. I highly recommend it. You will be in awe.

Owner's Response: Thank you Yenizel. I think some people are more cold natured than others and we also were dealing with record cold temperatures. Lynn

Quiet, peaceful, georgeous little retreat from the world

  • 5 of 5

I surprised my girlfriend here with a weekend away and a proposal. Lynn and Jimmy helped me make the weekend perfect with their little slice of heaven. They even came and took some photos of us, and now we have engagement photos with a backdrop that can’t be beat. Thanks for a great weekend, and all the help and info about the surrounding areas!

Serenity at it's finest!

  • 5 of 5

Hemlock Falls is a cozy, secluded (but not too far from town), rustic cabin with a fabulous waterfall right outside the front door! It sounds like its raining all the time. Jimmy and Lynn are warm, welcoming hosts and they have literally though of everything, from chopped wood and kindling right on the front porch to fresh ground coffee at the coffee bar! Jimmy even had the first fire set up for us. All we had to do was light it. They provided plenty of nice linens, books, movies, magazines, snacks, tea, coffee. The calm and quiet of having no cable and no phone service (unless you have Verizon, then you're good to go) was a little unsettling at first since we, like everyone else, are addicted to these electronic devices. However, after a few hours we found we were glad not to have these distractions. I really can't say enough about this property and it's owners. We plan to return to Hemlock Falls one day!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and available.

  • 5 of 5

This cabin and grounds are beautiful. It is apparant the owners have placed much effort in the cabin and accommodate guests very well. Lynn took the time to walk us through the cabin/grounds and explained activities tongo nearby. We highly enjoyed the porch, the fire pit and sunset and the fireplace in the cabin. I highly recommend a stay at this cabin.

From the cabin to the owners everything was great.

  • 5 of 5

Upon my initial inquiry to checking in at the cabin, Lynn was very responsive, friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond with a card and bottle of wine for our recent engagement! The cabin has everything you need and is very clean. Enjoyed the wonderful views, fireplace, and unplugging from reality for the weekend. Close to hiking (Denny Cove waterfall is a must see)! I would love the opportunity to stay here again some day. Will definitely suggest it to friends. Verizon had great service up there, but AT&T had barely any service at all until you went to town. If you are planning a trip to the area I would suggest this amazing property!
