It really is right on the lake!
Spent a weekend with family. Lots of space and jacuzi tub was a delight. Huge deck in back was great. Beautiful view and right on the water! Well-kept and everything we needed for cooking and being comfortable. One of the bedrooms (queen bed) had an odd entry into the master bathroom. A little awkward but be made it work.
Nice and relaxing
The house was nice, there are some things that need repair but it wasnt a big issue. There was no cell phone reception at all except for a family member who had Verizon. It rained the whole weekend we were there but we were still able to get in the water. Kids loved it. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, even some spices. Overall had a nice relaxing time.

Very nice location - pretty view & easy access
This house is located on a fairly quiet part of Inks Lake - nice shade trees, big deck, two boat docks, slight slope from lawn to lake for easy swimming. Good for kids and seniors. However, the sleeping arrangements are not very private - only one private room with a queen bed. To get to the other "private" bedroom (with a full size bed) you have to walk through a large dormitory style bedroom and a huge bathroom. The dormitory bedroom has a comfy queen bed but also includes a twin bed and a bunkbed - good for a family with young children if Mom and Dad don't mind sleeping in the same room with kids but the bedrooms were not good for our party of adults. A second smaller bathroom in the hall served most of our group - large bathroom seems like a waste of space. Air hockey table was fun to use one night and small fridge in the bar area was great for storing drinks. Small kitchen but nice big dining room with plenty of chairs and a large living room with somewhat scruffy yet comfortable furniture. No Wifi. The outdoor deck is roomy but the whole exterior of the home is badly in need of power washing - lots of cobwebs and pretty dirty. We enjoyed using the large outdoor grill but it too is also badly in need of a good cleaning - we had to clean it ourselves to prevent grease fires from flaring up. Also, there was little to no propane in the tank when we arrived - the prior tenants must have left the valve open. We had to buy a whole new tank for a stay of only a few days. Owners should supply a full propane tank upon check-in. The concierge was excellent - immediately available when we called with questions about the boat launch and very helpful. Sago palms in backyard need trimming and there were a lot of webworms in the trees on the property. Cobwebs in utility room but very nice to have a working washer and dryer. The whole house really could use a thorough top to bottom cleaning. Other than the maintenance needs, the location of this house on Inks Lake was excellent and made for easy access to the larger lake for fishing and kayaking. The water was clean and the temperature was perfect for swimming. House is set very close to the adjacent neighbor on the right when facing the lake but they weren't there during our stay. Tall fence from the other neighbor on the left gave some privacy on that side of the property. Nice views of undeveloped land and a beautiful large modern lake house on the opposite peninsula.
The property was a great location on the lake but the house was a bit rundown.
We had a relaxing time. Love the location. The house was mostly clean. Water pressure is low but adequate. Porches and House need cleaning of spider webs, windows washed, ice maker repaired. Other than all the small things that need repair, it is a great place to stay.
The location and house are very nice and the owner called to make sure everything was acceptable to our liking. I would strongly recommend this
Great place to unwind
Very clean. Lots of comfy lounging room. Quiet with good space from neighbors. Beautiful view of the rolling lawn to the lake with good swimming and boating. Had fun walking trails in nearby State park and good Mexican and Thai food in Burnet only nine miles away not to mention fun antique stores. Mary T
