About Michael Davis
After hiking the Smokies for many years I discovered the Bryson City / Deep Creek area in 2012 and fell in love with it so much I decided to relocate here. Found my dream home which included a guest house which I have decided to rent out part time. Absolutely love all the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities.
Michael Davis purchased this Barn in 2013
Why Michael Davis chose Bryson City
At 3000 feet elevation this place has beautiful views of the mountains and spectacular sunsets. The central location to rafting, boating, hiking and Bryson City couldn't be better.
What makes this Barn unique

Above and Beyond Our Expectations
We had a wonderful stay here! There are so many little details that the owner has thought to include for your convenience. It's a really peaceful location while also being very accessible. The home is very comfortable and has everything you need. Mike (the owner) is a great resource for local information on top of being a very friendly person! We definitely would live to come back again!
Had such a great time last summer, came back again this year
This was our second time to vacation at Michael's cabin. We had such a great experience last year, that we decided to come back again this year.
Michael's cabin has everything we need to relax, unwind, and also conveniently located amongst numerous outdoor adventures. The cabin is clean, well supplied, and situated with a scenic view, fresh cool air, and the peaceful sound of a mountain stream.
Michael is a wonderful host! He goes way above expectations to ensure that you have everything you need. Also, he is an expert in what the area has to offer. He is an active, adventuress person himself so he has a first hand knowledge of practically everything in the area. This really helped us make the most of our time during our vacation. He helped to make sure the vacation was especially memorable for my young son.
We will definitely be back again!
Beautiful and peaceful
We spent 3 nights in the Cabin. It's beautiful, peaceful and Michael is a really nice person. He provided us a lot of information about what to do in the area of Brison City. Reminded us some "Gites" in France and we loved it!
Quite and quaint. Hidden gem.
We enjoyed our 5 night stay here. This place is away from town so you'll get peace and quiet. Michael was very helpful with finding things to do in the area. The place was clean and everything we needed in the house was there. Very much recommend.
it was a very nice quiet place to stay. enjoyed it very much. the owner is very helpful and nice. would recommend this home
