About Michael Davis

After hiking the Smokies for many years I discovered the Bryson City / Deep Creek area in 2012 and fell in love with it so much I decided to relocate here. Found my dream home which included a guest house which I have decided to rent out part time. Absolutely love all the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities.

Michael Davis purchased this barn in 2013

Quaint little cabin tucked away in the mountains of North Carolina

  • 5 of 5

I would highly recommend this cabin to anybody looking for a nice place tucked away in the mountains. Michael was extremely friendly and accommodating! He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay! Would visit again.

Nice place

  • 4 of 5

The place was as advertised. The view was tremendous. If there was a drawback,it was the winding road. But having been to that area, we expected it. The owner was friendly and gracious, providing linnens, charcoal, and other unexpected niceties. We will go again.

Amazing! 100% satisfied, recommends to everyone

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent 6 days in June 2017 we had a couple of friends visit for a few nights, we absolutely loved our stay here. It was cozy, clean, and peaceful. We were very comfortable and grateful to have such a nice host. Davi and his neighbor were very nice and welcoming, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. IF anyone has any doubts about staying here, throw them out the window and book this charming place, you will not regret it. Close to town, a gas station and ingles supermarket but far enough to be away from all the crowds and highway noise. The views going down the mountain on our way into town we're stunning every morning, wonderful neighborhood. The sunsets from the property were amazing in the summer, and tons of fireflies sparkling in the dark sure added a charm to a peaceful getaway. The price is unbeatable, the hospitality is second to none and the comfort and views are sure to please anyone who books this place. Thank you so much davi

A delightful place to stay, further from Bryson City than we expected, but quiet and beautiful.

  • 4 of 5

Loved the little cottage with its views of the mountains and sound of the nearby stream.

Hummingbirds visited the front porch and from back balcony we enjoyed the sunset and fireflies. Cottage had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and everything felt clean and homey.
