About Michael Davis

After hiking the Smokies for many years I discovered the Bryson City / Deep Creek area in 2012 and fell in love with it so much I decided to relocate here. Found my dream home which included a guest house which I have decided to rent out part time. Absolutely love all the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities.

Michael Davis purchased this barn in 2013

Terrific Rental - Exactly What We Were Looking For!

  • 5 of 5

This place was perfect for our Father/Son vacation. Tucked away off a quiet mountain road, the property is ideally located just minutes away from terrific hiking, tubing, and rafting adventures. The cabin has all the essentials you need and an internet connection to stay in touch with friends/family. But best of all, Michael mades us feel completely welcome during our stay and ensured we informed with all the area attractions. We long forward to returning as soon as possible.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was cozy clean and felt so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking at the great view...Of the mountains...sunset. Bed cozy.. Kitckenfully stocked..washers look new... and the living room was like visiting your grandma's house in the summer. Michael was an excellent host who was always available to give suggestions or just have a chat, we would love to stay there again on a next vacation and recommend it to all our family and friends.

Review of rental at 2265 Deep Gap Road Bryson City NC 28713Jim and I really enjoyed

  • 5 of 5

Jim and I really enjoyed our stay in the bank barn at the top of Deep Gap Road. It was clean and neat and the kitchen was very well equipped in fact we fixed most of our meals there.

The porch overlooked the gap and I spent most of my time when we were not sightseeing there reading and watching the sunrise and sunset . Michael the owner lives in a house on the property and was very helpful informing us about the area and making sure everything was going right and answering our questions Thank you Michael!!! Jane

Great location and cozy cabin.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our time in this rental. It was comfortable and clean. The mountain sunset view is amazing. This is a short drive to the NOC, Fontana Dam, Bryson City, Cherokee, Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, Blue Ridge Parkway and more. The host, Michael, is helpful and can direct you to the neighborhood attractions; local swimming hole within walking distance and the Alarka Falls. You will not be disappointed.
