Our house is not suited for a party group. The house is appointed with expensive furniture. Walk everywhere; Steps from Gondola & Main St; but still quiet with amazing views; important for early ski season, only way up to the mountain right outside the door, Bike and Ski rental on the same property (20% discount granted for our guests as walk-ins); Garage & 1 parking space and a smaller car can fit in-front of the garage; 3 fireplaces; Private Hot Tub, well appointed kitchen, extra entertainment area, sleeps 6 in 3 master bedrooms, sleeps an extra 2 on pullout couch. The gourmet kitchen features Wolf appliances. The whole house is beautifully furnished. The beds are very comfortable. The comfortable family room w/ wet bar is the place to relax and enjoy a movie after a day of hiking or skiing.

The Ski and Bike rental place on the premises is called Carvers.

We highly recommend that you reserve your rentals online to avoid waiting and ruining your first vacation day. In case you didn't reserve, you can still get a 20% discount as our guests.

Why Claus Wagner chose Breckenridge Area

Breckenridge is a real charmer. It offers many local bars and restaurants and some of the best skiing in the US. The snow here is always superb given the high altitude. The summers are nice and cool making hiking and biking very enjoyable. We are only 8 miles from the Frisco Marina if you like to enjoy some activities on the water. You can't find a better location in Breckenridge.

What makes this house unique

The real gem of our property is the Hot Tub on the second floor balcony. The floors are heated so you won't ever struggle with snow. The view from the hot tub looks west and you can enjoy the entire ski area of Breckenridge.

Upscale lodging in perfect Breck location

We spent four nights in Storm Cabin at the end of the spring skiing season and had an absolutely exceptional experience. As other reviewers have noted, the location is perfect - right in town (but without excessive noise), and next to the gondola. The house is spacious and comfortable, and very well designed to allow for privacy among the different members of your traveling party. For instance, my two sons enjoyed retreating to the lower level living area to hang out and play games after skiing, while my wife and I relaxed on the main floor, or took a soak in the hot tub upstairs.

The house is appointed with high end, European-style finishes, and has all the amenities you would want or need - 3 fireplaces, 3.5 bathrooms, decks, plenty of comfortable seating, hot tub, spacious kitchen, etc.

The owners and management company are also both extremely responsive and helpful.

I am a pretty picky reviewer, and don't offer such praise lightly. However, my sons discerning tastes make me look soft by comparison - and they are both already needling me to book a return visit to Storm Cabin next year.

If you're at all hesitant about making a reservation - don't be. I'm certain you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic Location

If you want the ultimate in convenience to both the gondola and Main Street, this can't be beat. In addition to having a fantastic location, the design and finishes in Storm Cabin are top notch. We are definitely going to stay here again.

Beautiful home awesome location to slopes and town

We had three couples stay in February. Easy to walk to the gondola and right off main street.

Stunning home - top notch with decorations. The hot tub with great views of the mountain was really fun too.

We all really enjoyed the stay. There was plenty of room for us and I like the fact it is a tri-level.

Perfect Stay at Storm Cabin

Three couples stayed at the Storm Cabin for four nights in late January/early February for a ski vacation in Breckinridge. This place was perfect!

*Right off of Main Street - close to shops and restaurants. We just walked out the front door into town each day. Also, right next to two ski rental businesses and a very short walk to the gondola (to Peak 8).

*Beautiful home - nicely decorated, comfortable bedding, high-end kitchen, terrific mountain views, hot tub on deck, radiant floor heating, and well-stocked with everything that we needed.

*Plenty of space for everyone - Upstairs had a large master suite with large bathroom, fireplace, mountain views, and deck. We saw falling stars each night! The main floor had a fireplace, mountain views, large kitchen, living room, dining room with large table, and a half bath. The downstairs area had an additional living room, fireplace, mini kitchen, small dining area, laundry room, and two additional bedrooms with private baths. We had the perfect amount of space to spend time together and have our own space as well.

*Parking - There is a one car garage that was tall enough to fit our SUV with topper. There was plenty of room to store our skis and equipment- a boot dryer as well! You also have parking in front of the garage and an additional space marked for the Storm Cabin at a business next to the house.

We are already talking about booking this house for next year. Perfect house in the perfect location! I only had to contact the owner once and he responded immediately and was very helpful.

This home is special - location is unparalleled.

We feel the location is potentially the best in Breckenridge. The proximity to the gondola and main street make it unique and highly desirable in our opinion. The finish out and furnishings are exceptional. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Parking is solid, internet connection is great, entertainment channels, several large flat screens, apple tv and whole home audio.

Storm Cabin is Amazing!!

We stayed at Storm Cabin in January 2017. This home is ideally located one street away from the Gondola and right in the heart of restaurants and bars. This home has everything you might need for your stay and then some. The décor is very comfortable and cozy. The hot tub on the roof is amazing and so very needed at the end of a long day on the slopes. We will definitely be back again and again!!
