Large family ski apartment; sleeps 8 (max).

Well equipped throughout with 2 bathrooms and toilets; dishwasher; wide screen HD TVs with FreeSat and DVD (UK and French TV) in lounge and bedrooms, WiFi available (at small supplement). Washing machine, tumble drier and heated boot rack (so lovely warm and dry boots in the morning!). A superb, quality apartment with a 3 star/3pillow rating. Fully registered and rated with the local tourist office.

Brightly decorated, complete with quality furniture. Comfortable beds with quality duvets and pillows. King size bed in main bedroom; 1 bunk bed and 1 twin bed in second bedroom; twin sofa bed in lounge; linen and towels available (at supplement). Ski locker.

Fantastic location in private apartment block in Val Claret, Tignes; ski-in/ski-out; Easy access to lifts and ski school.

Approx 2 hours 30 mins from Lyon and Grenoble; 3 hours from Geneva (slightly less now since the opening of the new motorway link coming out of Geneva). At 3,000m it is one of the highest resorts in the Alps - with over 130 pistes covering all abilities and 90 lifts. Excellent ski and snowboarding resort. Very long ski season (early December to May).

Great value for money apartment in heart of Val Claret.

We had a great week in this Tignes apartment. It comfortably accommodated our family with 19, 18 & 15 year olds and was well presented along with having the essentials for a great ski holiday. Roger was fantastic with his advice regarding all things Tignes and his replies to our many enquiries we’re always very prompt. The apartment is in a brilliant location and while not quite truly ski-in, ski-out, it was no more than a 30m walk from the slopes at the end of the day. Amazing convenience at the price. It’s also no more than 3 or 4 minutes walk to the restaurants, bars, supermarket etc. Our only difficulty with our trip was that it is a little awkward picking up the keys to the apartment when coming up by bus from Bourg-Saint-Maurice as the pickup point is in a separate Tignes village. This takes a certain amount of coordination around luggage and you will want a clear idea of how to find the apartment should you arrive this way. However, that was really a negligible issue and we would be more than happy to stay in this apartment again.

Séjour agréable-appartement spacieux

Très bien situé près des pistes et remontés. Logement très bien équipé. Petit bémol concernant le four électrique qui ne fonctionne pas. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous reviendrons en ce lieu si disponible. Merci au propriétaire et à Abritel.

Séjour agréable en été

Excellent contact avec le propriétaire, appartement très bien équipé, idéal pour un couple avec 2 ou 3 enfants. Possibilité de loger un peu plus de monde. Bien placé proche des commerces et des pistes. Je recommande et je louerai à nouveau sans problème.

Why they chose this property

Being able to put on your skis by the front door and have a choice of 6 ski lifts, all going in different directions, all reached with in a minute or two. Having over 300km of pistes in front of you, with 155 runs and over 90 ski lifts. Being able to ski back at the end of the day. Add in a nice, light, spacious apartment; shops and restaurants just along the road; ski school close by (no dragging kids on to busses or long walks with tired kids . . . ).
