Located in the industrial, up-and-coming area of Fort Square, Gloucester, the updated apartment is inside an older commercial building. It is right on top of the water's edge. Views of Gloucester Harbor, Ten Pound Island Light House, the landmark Tarr & Wonson Paint Manufactory and a whole lot of ocean.
Walking distance to Western Ave beach, the state Park at Fort Point, the Fisherman's memorial, downtown harbor restaurants, coffee shops and shopping.
Seascape paintings of a life-long Gloucester painter will be added into the apartment.

Fort Square is an old commercial fishing area, which is still partially used for lobster boats unloading and shipping out. The rest of the building is used by the owner as a residence.
Nearby is the famous Cape Pond Ice Company where the Perfect Storm was filmed. You can walk to the Western Ave beach, restaurants, shops and more.
This area hosts some of Gloucester's, and America's, richest maritime history. The harbor is the oldest seaport in US history. Remnants of this fishing town are still alive and well. Renewed in recent years, the old Fort and Flats area create an environment of a renewal with antiquity. You are within walking distance to many conveniences and restaurants, both for locals and tourists.
Walk to the beach, downtown, and trains, notably the MBTA commuter rail to Boston and other North Shore towns.
You can walk to nearby shops and restaurants. Even the Shaw's supermarket is just .7 miles. Less than a mile on Railroad Ave are banks, shops and the commuter rail to Boston. A bike would be great and a car is needed for travel out of the area.
