|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
Nestled on Little Neck hill just a short walk to Pavilion beach and the private River Road beach across from Crane Beach, this home is cool and relaxing. Covered in giant old trees with distant views of Plum Island Sound and Ipswich River channel. Your get-away!
This cottage is beautifully weather-worn and one of the original homes on Little Neck. A gorgeous little home where you can stroll out to the beaches and nearby playgrounds. A cozy living area, a big breakfast bay window, kitchen and 2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds.
There is a long deck for sitting out with sea and Ipswich River views in the distance. It has a side lawn and a patio for outside dining and cooking out.
Please note that the 1.5 bathrooms means there is one full bath plus an outside shower as is the custom at Little Neck, from when only outside showers were allowed.
The whole home is yours! You'll have access to tall the Little Neck beaches and play areas for kids and pets.
We will meet you at the residence and give you an orientation to the home and the Little Neck area.
You have access to multiple beach fronts within just a few minute's walk. It's a great place to take a walk and get to know the locals (although in the colder months, some people may be away). There is a small children's playground on Little Neck at the bottom of Hilltop Road and a much larger playground after Great Neck Bay, with a basketball hoop, fortresses for climbing and all the regular play structures.
You'll need a car.
The commuter rail to Boston (and surrounding North Shore towns like Salem, Lynn, Rockport, Newburyport) is just in town. So you can have a day trip anywhere you'd like if you'd rather leave the car back at the station.
Other Things to Note:
Little Neck is a managed community and guests are listed as short-term renters. You will need to check in with the guard at the stone pillar entrance.
Water, sewage and trash are manually carted in and out of Little Neck - It's an island. So for stays over 2 weeks, we will take the actual reading of utilities and charge the average fee based on past bills.
Pets are welcomed here as part of the family! So to account for utility usage and added types of cleaning, please add $20 for each pet (mammals) per stay.
Sorry, no children under 12.

Please separate recyclables in the blue bin. Put trash in the town green bag and put outside. If staying for a week, put the trash/recycling out by the roadside on Tuesday morning and take the bins in after.
Lovely location, great outdoor space. One of the beds was not made up when we arrived, so we had to make our own bed. The lighting in the main bedroom and bathroom was a little limited. Otherwise great place for a summer weekend trip.
