Our home has been fully renovated to provide luxury finishes while preserving the character and history of this classic New Orleans style home. The house features 3 bedrooms (2 master suites and 1 queen room). Both Master suites are equipped with flat screen televisions. The home features 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bath/powder room, Large side porch and backyard, fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, dining room and spacious living room to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We understand there are many choices of hospitality in New Orleans and have equipped the house with luxuries to compete with any hotel. Features include: luxury bedding, down and down alternative luxury pillows, french terry towels, brand new appliances, cookware, dinnerware and server ware. We truly want to provide a perfect environment to relax and recharge while enjoying all that New Orleans has to offer. Wifi and upgraded cable included in stay. The location of our home is perfect to enjoy all areas of New Orleans. You are steps from Frenchman restaurants, art market, music and galleries on Royal. 5 minutes to Jackson Square or Bourbon. We share a block with Horn's Restaurant which is routinely named a top brunch pick in New Orleans. It is open breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner 7 days a week for easy take out or excellent dine in option. Our block also has a great convenience market with groceries, wine, beer and other must have items to stock the house. Too many perks to describe, come visit!

About John and Stephanie

As a couple we enjoy traveling. Our great passions include food and music. No city embodies both more than New Orleans. We have both been coming to this city for many years and just recently purchased a second home here. We treat this like our home and have equipped it to rival the luxurious experience of any hotel in New Orleans. We provide a book to access and operate everything int he house as well as a list of our recommendations for local eats, libations and music in the neighborhood.

Perfect stay

This home is so lovely, pictures don't do it justice. And it is in the perfect location, right around the corner from Frenchman street and a lovely park for the puppies as well as walking distance to the quarter. John was super easy to work with, very fast communication and accommodating. VERY highly recommend. Thank you, John! Can't wait to return!

Charming house in great location

Our family of 6 greatly enjoyed staying in John and Stephanie's amazing house in Marigny. We loved the location- close to wonderful restaurants and breakfast spots, as well as close to many attractions. The layout is wonderful and the decor is very attractive. We ate breakfast at Horn's next door and enjoyed dinner at Three Muses on Frenchman. John was very responsive to our questions and communication with him was a breeze. Highly recommend this place- you will feel like a local staying here.

What an Amazing Property

My family and I recently took a trip to New Orleans and stayed in this beautiful property. The owners were very professional and accommodating in answering my emails and questions. When we arrived the house was immaculate. The location could not have been any better. It's close enough to enjoy all that the French Quarter offers, but removed enough to not be kept up all night by the festivities outside. I would highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to experience New Orleans.

Charming and clean home with a perfect location! Highly recommend!

This was my first time booking a home via HomeAway. The process was smooth and easy. We received an email from John before our arrival and he laid out on the ground rules. Everything you needed to know was fully explained.

Now the! It was amazing! It had a nice little New Orleans vibe from the painting on the walls, the brick walls and fireplace to the glass chandelier. I literally fell in love with this home. I have to mention that I'm a bit OCD when it comes to cleanliness but this home was pretty spotless! It is exceptionally well kept!

The location was great as well! We are between Bourbon and Frenchman's Street which were in walkable distance. The neighborhood seemed relatively safe; however, we never traveled less than 3 in a group. Also, you must check out Horn's across the street! Amazing Bloody Mary's and oyster benedict.

So to summarize it all...definitely recommend this place! I know we'll be looking forward to staying here again!

Perfect rental in NOLA

The location is within easy walking distance of the French Quarter, but just far enough to be quiet for sleeping. The decor is beautiful, comfortable, and functional -- and many extras were provided (creamer for coffee!!) that we didn't expect. We didn't cook in the house but easily could have, as the kitchen had all necessary tools. We loved that there was a keypad for the gate and the door, which allowed us all to access the house without worrying about keys. We had a great time each morning relaxing in the lovely living room with a cup of coffee and catching up. Directly across the street is a lovely place for breakfast/brunch/lunch, un-permitted parking at the end of the block, and the parade route begins only 4 blocks away (we were lucky to see the Krewe of Boo parade.) The owners were responsive, helpful, polite, and timely with all information. We were a (very tame) reunion of 6 college friends and I would go directly back to the exact same rental.
