There is a train station in Bondi Junction and taxis are easy to get from outside the apartment building as well. The apartment was spacious and very well kept. The views were perfect and so close to amenities and transport links. Carolina was helpful and responded to communications promptly. Ourselves and our two young children had a wonderful time here, would definitely recommend.
This apartment was in the perfect location for a seaside city stay. Awesome views, loads of great places to eat nearby, and beautifully decked out with everything you need. Carolina is a very hospitable host who knows how to create a welcoming and beautiful environment. We had a brilliant long weekend!
We loved this apartment!
The location is fantastic, and the views really are exactly as they appear in these photos - absolutely beautiful!
If anything, the pictures of the apartment don't do it justice - it's actually more spacious on the inside than I expected based on the pictures.
Carolina was a fantastic host. At one stage during the week we needed an extra set of keys, and Carolina came over straight away to drop them off for us. She was very responsive and helpful.
There are 2 bits of information I wish I had known before booking, however:
1) The hot water system is tiny. I don't have a bath at home and so always try and choose a holiday rental with one. Sadly the small size of the hot water system meant that upon first trying to run a bath there was only enough hot water to cover my ankles. This wouldn't be an issue if you're only after a really quick shower, but there were 2 of us staying in this apartment, both needing to get off to meetings at a similar time each morning, which meant that one of us inevitably had a cold shower (and the other still had to rush).
2) Walking on the floor boards in the apartment is really loud (an information sheet upon arrival tells you this is the case). I'm an early riser so was often up before my husband, but my simply walking around the apartment before him between the kitchen and lounge room was enough to wake him up too. This might not be an issue for heavier sleepers, however.
Overall, the apartment is fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again for our next stay in Bondi. Thanks for having us Carolina!
Everything that we wanted. Carolina was extremely helpful. The kitchen was stocked with basic day to day needs. The beds were extremely comfortable! And the view was exactly as the picture shows. Only downfall was no air conditioning.
