Recently remodeled 3 bedroom with 2 full baths. Good size living room with sectional sofa and fireplace. Wall mounted large flat screen TV & DVD player. Open kitchen and dining area with breakfast bar and all the housewares you need. King bed in large bedroom with full bath, Queen bed and double bed in the other two bedrooms adjoin the 2nd full bathroom. Towels and linens are provided, 1 Car garage and nice size yard. BBQ

About Deanie Burris

Hello, I am a Tucson native. My grandparents moved here in 1946 to escape the cold weather back East. My parents, my husband and our children all graduated from a school in the Amphitheater district. My husband and I have raised 3 amazing children in the NW area of Tucson. We are proud grandparents of 5 and spend much of our time outdoors with them. We love Tucson and the wonderful climate that allows us to spend time outdoors nearly year around. One of our favorite hikes as kids was to seven falls located in the Sabino Canyon area and one of our favorite places to visit is the Tucson Desert Museum. You will find that we have a lot of hiking and biking trails, tons of golf courses private and public and many outdoor activities. All though Tucson and its surrounding area have approximately 1 million people, we still have the small town feel.

Why Deanie Burris chose Arizona

We purchased this property and totally remodeled it to rent to a family member. Once they could afford a home of their own we decided to rent it so that others could enjoy it. It is located in a great spot. Close enough to interstate 10 without all the noise and within several blocks of major shopping and dining. The time may come for us to downsize and this would be a great home to do it in.

What makes this townhome unique

Located on a quiet culdesac where there is minimal traffic. The unit (walking distance) is only a block away from the community pool, spa, BBQ area, tennis courts and playground.

(The spa is not heated in the summer)

We found it easy to get around Tucson from this house, altho the closure of Ina Rd was not good.

Ideal Temporary Accomodation

I have nothing but fine things to say about this accommodation and the wonderful landlady. The place is fully stocked with everything one would need for a pleasant short-term [or even long-term] stay [including hairdryer!], and it is well-situated for the places we needed to visit. It is clean, quiet, roomy, and well-appointed. And Ms Burris is available by cellphone/text for any stupid or sensible questions [none of which she deems stupid!]. I recommend any place Ms Burris handles without a second thought, and my family will be going to her places on our next visits to Tucson.

We really enjoyed our stay here.

What we liked best about this property was how quiet it was. Even though it was in town it felt very private yet all the conveniences we we nearby. Everything we needed was there just as advertised and it was neat and clean. I am a cyclist and one of the main reasons we come to Tucson is to get some winter riding time. This property is within a short low traffic bike ride to one of the main trail heads. This was our first experience with this type of vacation so I had several conversations with the owner and she made me feel very comfortable. We will be coming back.

Comfortable and close to shopping, bike trails and freeway.

This is a good place to stay with a pet. The backyard is very spacious. Our first impressions were a little disappointing when driving up. The driveway needs paving and the garage door looked like someone hit it. The windows were dirty as were the floors. The pool and hot tub down the street that are part of the complex were clean but not heated. The tennis court was cracked with huge holes. There was a nice children's playground that my grandson enjoyed near by. Our friends who rented in a large community with very nice facilities and a larger home paid the same as us. The owner was friendly and easy to work with but this definitely was no bargain for what we got!

Owner's Response: It is hard to please everyone all the time, but we try our best. The garage door that had been damaged by a previous guests was already scheduled to be replaced but we make an effort to not disturb our guests during their stay. The unit was built in the early 80's so the windows were clean but water stained (we are considering replacing those as well). I am not sure why they felt the floor was dirty as it is swept and mopped between every checkout. Perhaps it was tracked in by their undisclosed pet or during their move in process. The pool and spa are operated by the HOA and only heated from April to June at which time they are warm enough to use without the heater. The road is maintained by Pima county and nearly all of our roads need work especially in the neighborhoods. Road maintenance is one of Tucson's biggest issues. We are truly sorry they felt the did not get what they paid for. We make every effort to provide a safe, secure and pleasant experience for our guests.

Located in NW area of Tucson also know as the Marana area. This townhome is just a few blocks from major shopping, dining, movie theater, starbucks and just about anything you need. Easy access to Interstate 10 from Ina Road or Cortaro Rd.

There are a lot of hiking trails, golf courses and outdoor activities in Tucson and the surrounding areas. This location is close to many of them. A must see would be Sabino Canyon and Desert Museum. Downtown Tucson is a great place for nightlife and dining. You can catch the Tram at many areas down their and tour the downtown area, 4th ave and University Blvd. A one day pass is $4 and you can get off and on for the entire day.
