About this property

Decorated in beach cottage décor, the space features a queen bed in the master and twin beds in the 2nd bedroom with pillowtop mattresses and high-quality linens— the den doubles as a third bedroom. The bathroom has a tub/shower with multiple towels and beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with right down to the drip coffee maker. Our Cozy Properties are supplied with all the linens, cleaning supplies, and paper products with extra should you need in the storage area, which is complimentary to your stay. This cottage has two reserved parking spots: Direct TV and high-speed wifi. Next, take a few steps to the private to our property pool, outdoor grill (gas and charcoal), recreation area, and common area room just for our guests. The common area room has 2 washers and 2 dryers, along with laundry supplies as a part of your rental. It's like staying at a quaint bed and breakfast; you make breakfast.

Although we are a family-friendly home, there are some things we can not supply due to the marketability and the ability to ensure that specialty items are kept safe and in good repair. We recommend you consider renting these items from our local companies that deliver and support the community you love. Enjoy!

The unique opportunity to have family and friends stay together in the privacy of their cottages and have the entire property all to yourself will make your stay both fun and memorable!

We are a dog-only friendly property that can host up to 2 furry family members under 40lbs each. (Give or take a doggie pound here and there!)

Each dog will incur a pet fee that covers the additional cleaning needed after each renter to pre-repair the house for the next visitors. Please ask if you have any questions or concerns about your family member!

Great beach homebase but wasn’t great for us

This house is a great home base for days at the beach and touring Cocoa Beach and the surrounding areas. It has what is promised in the ad - beds, bathroom, kitchen, sitting area, and a pool. The owners were responsive when issues or questions arise. However, it wasn’t a great fit for us. The bathroom is small for a family of four. There isn’t a lot of counter space to put toiletries that is easily accessible. The bathtub is small for taking a bath but it is high for people who struggle with lifting their legs. The beds were comfortable and had extra padding for comfort. The queen bed in the main bedroom was really high and was difficult for this 5’4” person to get into. Many of the houses I have stayed in have lamps with USB chargers or a charging station in each bedroom. The bedrooms only had one plug near each bed so it made charging devices a little bit of a challenge. There is only seating for four at the kitchen table and while this worked this time, we originally were going to have five and it wouldn’t have worked. Additionally, the space is right and getting in and out of two of the seats isn’t easy. There is also only seating for four in the living room and the couch is definitely made for decor not comfort. It’s one of those bamboo couches with cushions. It was fine for short sits but not great for relaxing and movie watching. The kitchen had all of the necessary appliances and dinnerware needed. It even had kid friendly plates and bowls.

Great beach cottage

We had a great time at the beach cottage. Everything worked, parking was great and easy to use. Walking distance to the beach but driving to most restaurants. Pool was un-heated, which usually in Florida isn’t a problem, but it was really cold during our stay. I would stay again!

We are originally from the Northeast and have lived locally in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area for the last 10 years. We run the local air show in the community that features military flight teams like the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels to recognize all the military and space installations in the area.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property and created Cozy Canaveral Cottages to have a small property of units that we can manage ourselves and provide that same personal touch to all our guests that we have come to love when we travel. In addition to working with our vacation guests we also work with several NASA contractors to host their people that are visiting for business.

What makes this property unique

We love the cozy beach theme of the property and the 'getaway' feel it provides when you step inside the gate. We also love to getaway there ourselves when a cottage is available!
