We rented this perfect home for our family. This barn conversion is AMAZING. Perfect feel for a VT getaway. The house is far away enough from town, but still convenient to all amenities and both Stratton/Bromley mountains. We have stayed in many VT houses, however, this one really was spectacular with its design, decor, and comfort. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare food/entertain (all with new utensils, appliances....often overlooked). Feels like a brand new house.

We will be back to this lovely place!

A Perfect House, A Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

The decor - all the beams, the tin sconces, the Lincoln wall art, the blue kitchen cupboards, the expansive loft....everything was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer and I can't wait to come back. Located in the hills behind the center of Dorset, the setting is serene and there is absolutely nothing that isn't provided.

Great Fall Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We spent a long weekend here from 10/20-10/23. My wife and I stayed here with my brother and his wife and our two dogs. The property is perfect for four people. Indoors, the open floor plan is optimal for hanging out together and cooking. The main floor master bedroom has a super comfortable queen bed. My brother and sister-in-law said the loft was also very comfortable for sleeping. Outside, there's great hiking with the dogs in the wooded area out the back door. The area has great restaurants, shopping (including a wonderful bookstore in town), and scenery. The owners were very accessible and helpful. A special shout-out to the property's caretaker who found my forgotten sport coat and shirt hanging in the closet and promptly mailed them to me. We would readily return.

Beautiful Place in a Beautiful Spot

The barn is beautiful, has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The location is just as beautiful and the proximity to Manchester is so convenient. We want to own a barn just like it. We will definitely be back.

I wish this was my house!!

  • 5 of 5

The house had everything we needed for a great getaway! The house and the decor are both beautiful and comfortable. We spent most of our days out exploring and shopping and came back to relax in the evenings. We played cards and had a game of monopoly that lasted the length of our stay. Our kids loved the loft area and while the house only has one bedroom it didn't feel cramped at all for a family of 6 and our dog! Our son broke his leg 2 weeks before we arrived so we didn't get to explore the trails on the property as much as we would have liked to but what we did hike on was really fun. We would love to make it back again.
