Charming Bungalow with Exceptional Location and Amenities

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough good things about this bungalow and its owner. The house is charming and makes great use of small square footage. It is extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and you feel like "a local" within a short period. There is more than adequate closet and drawer space even for a long stay. Unlike most hotels there were plenty of hangars. The large tub in the bathroom is terrific as are all of the toiletries that Beth supplies. Appliances are brand new and the kitchen had every kind of equipment you could ask for, including full size washer and dryer. All pots and pans were like new. The backyard sitting area is ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine or beer at the end of the day. The BBQ grill is a plus so you don't have to go out to eat if you don't want to. Almost every good restaurant in Missoula is within walking distance. Two bicycles are provided with bike helmets so you can totally enjoy Missoula's exceptional bike trails. Beth is a great hostess. We will be back.

Superb and highly recommended

  • 5 of 5

The description did not do this lovely house any justice. Beautifully maintained, appointed and comfortable all at the same time. There wasn't a single thing Beth has not thought of. Comfy beds, great kitchen, excellent shower and very good instructions on how to operate the house. Beth should give lessons. She kept in contact with us even from after making the reservTion until after we left. They neighborhood was beautiful and quiet and perfect - 5 stars +++

UMT Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

This is our 3rd time staying at this Missoula property. I honesty cannot give it ample praise. Beth and Tim are amazing hosts! One of the best things about stay here is the they allow our lovely golden retriever, Moke, to tag along. For those of you who are not dog lovers, you would never know that a dog has been on the property as it is immaculately maintained. Even though the home does not offer central air, there is a portable air conditioning unit that is sufficient. The home also has double windows so it does stay cool in the hot summer months and warm in the winter month. In addition to the dog thing, the neighborhood is so, so friendly with lots of small town charm. Since Uber recently has taken root in Missoula, unless you are planning on going far, no rental car would be required for your stay here (airport is a short 15 minute drive west on 90). Everything is in walking distance or a short Uber ride to downtown Missoula restaurants. Be sure to get your free piece of fresh baked bread at Great Harvest and the most amazing scoops of sweet goodness at Big Dipper and Sweet Peaks Ice Creameries. If you take a stroll toward the university during the dusk hours, be prepared to run into a far share of the urban deer population. We ran into a little doe nursing on their mama! If you like to fish or float, this is the place to go for both. We are fly fishing folk and the rivers and creeks in the area are phenomenal (Clark Fork, Bitter Root, Rock Creek). I am hoping we can get back to the property for an extended stay in the winter so we can really experience the cold (since we are from California we really do not understand cold). So, so glad our son had decided to stay at UMT for the next 3 years so we have an opportunity to stay more at this beautiful home! Thank you Beth and Tim!

Super charming house in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

This house is by far the best rental I have ever stayed in. It's in a prime location close to downtown, the university and local shopping. It was extremely clean, nicely decorated and had many amenities including good coffee, lots of clean towels, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and cute patio with grill. To top it off the owner was very sweet and extremely hospitable. We will be staying at this house whenever we are back in Missoula!

Charming and comfortable house in the most perfect Missoula location

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved this beautifully appointed and clean home. Floor plan has a very easy flow and Beth has filled the home with comfortable furnishings and appealing decor. I love the location, too- hop, skip and jump to Cafe Dolce, Rocking Rudys, downtown and the university without the bustle and noise of these popular spots. What's not to love?! Will definitely stay here again.
