This is a family summer house that we have enjoyed over many decades. We have spent many summers here with wonderful memories. We are now in the third generation. During the weeks of the summer that the family can't be here, we try to rent the house. Some families return every year. We try to maintain and improve the house all the time. It is a great place for a family to spread out and relax. There is a lot of communal space for dining, reading, board or card games and napping. It is casual, and peaceful.

If you would like to spend time in the country in a beautiful setting with simplicity you will enjoy this house. You have near access to many activities like hiking and swimming and you can also just sit on the porch and admire the view of Chocorua Mountain.
This home is basic and rustic and comfortable. It is not a slick or 'condo' summer place. It is a wonderful place to enjoy simple pleasures. It has an old-fashioned summer camp feel to it that makes it special.
What an amazing experience! The house is like taking a step back in time. It is filled with beautiful books, interesting paintings, and amazing antiques. If you are wanting lush accommodations, and state of the art amenities this is not the place for you. If you are wanting to disconnect from being a slave to our electronics and reconnect with your family pick this home. I can not describe the beauty and peace of this property. The pictures don't do it justice. The views and scenery are inspiring. The house is like getting a warm hug from a beloved grandparent. My family and I could not have asked for or even imagined a more perfect place. Jean was lovely to work with. I only wish we could have met in person. Whenever we choose to go to New Hampshire again we will definitely stay at this house again. Enough good things can not be said!
