|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Tastefully furnished, cozy yet spacious, this 1910 home has been completely updated. The living room is warm and inviting, with a gas fireplace and a library of art history and Montana literature. Original artwork decorates the walls. Stocked with all the appliances you need, the kitchen is open and great for socializing. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and a light-filled cupola. Two bedrooms have queen beds; a third room has a small bed suitable for a child or overnight guest. Nice neighbors, and gorgeous neighborhood.
Location, location, location! This home is in Cooper Park Historic District, which means a short walk to downtown shops, galleries and restaurants, the hip community food co-op, and Montana State University. Take a five-minute walk to Rockford Coffee for an espresso or grab breakfast at BagelWorks. There are cross-country ski trails in town, as well as world-class trails 16 miles north of town. The largest ski resort in the country, Big Sky, is just an hour away. Bridger Bowl is another great option for skiing, just 20 minutes away.
This home is also dog friendly (1 dog only please), with a doggy door in the back that opens to a fenced-in yard and deck. Cooper Park across the street is an off-leash park.
Also, feel free to use the grill for a barbecue or enjoy your morning coffee on the deck.
The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Great short term rental close to downtown and 4 blocks from the Community Food Coop, which we visited several times a week. Kitty corner to a dog park, which we visited daily. The house is cozy, and we enjoyed the downstairs (we work from home and homeschool our two kids). The master bathroom is tiny, which was not an issue for me, but my wife used the other bathroom, which she shared with our kids. The third bedroom is not much of a bedroom, with a twin bed (or smaller) which only fits a child. Overall, we loved our stay here.
