Welcome to our stunning penthouse apartment, where you will be able to relax & unwind by taking in the magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and the Pumicestone Passage. Situated only 200 metres from Kings Beach, this unique home on 2 levels provides lots of collective and private space, a roof-top spa, large, open living, kitchen & dining areas, private BBQ, & a communal pool/spa area.

About Melissa Wood

Michael & I have been coming to the Sunshine Coast for the past 15 years, when my parents first retired here. We fell in love with the relaxed way of life - the typical Ozzie way - and decided it would be a great location for a holiday home. We initially bought a small 2 bedroom unit in 2001, and upgraded to this amazing apartment in 2008. For 6 years we have kept it to ourselves, but recently made the choice to share it with others. It's a home that needs to be lived in; to sit and watch the world go by on the amazing decks; to use the fabulous private amenities (outdoor living areas, roof-top spa, adirondacks etc.)., and we welcome you to this great space.

We currently live in New York City, and also own and take vacation rentals for our home in Colorado (HA Listing 258968), and our home in the Cayman Islands (HA Listing 3959413). With our personal travel experience (we've lived and worked in 8 countries on 3 continents), we feel we know what other discerning travelers are looking for in a vacation rental and we have now re-designed this house with those points in mind.

The Sunshine Coast is an amazing area to explore. Everything is within easy reach, and we like it's simplicity. It's a very typical 'Ozzie' beach destination, and this property is truly amazing, as you'll see from the photos and when you visit personally.

What makes this apartment unique

This home is unique, and you won't find another apartment like it in Kings Beach. We've decorated it with 'collections' from our years of living overseas, and there is a minor Asian influence. The views are simply stunning, and the private & collective spaces within this incredibly large apartment are both unusual and plentiful. Watching the sunrises & sunsets never gets old, and the sun shines year-round ... it certainly lives up to it's name of the Sunshine Coast!

An immaculately presented, very spacious apartment with beautiful views. Only a short walk to the amazing Kings Beach. The property has been tastefully decorated and includes all the hidden extras you could ever imagine, from free wi-fi to boogie boards to kitchen condiments to perfectly placed candles - it truly does feel like your own luxurious home away from home. Our family all love holidaying here.

We had a fabulous stay in this wonderful apartment! The location was perfect. A short walk, thanks to a cleverly located private pathway means you are at Kings Beach in minutes. Kings Beach is a stunning beach surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. An early morning swim and coffee became our daily routine! The apartment has everything you could want and is like staying in your own private resort! We could have happily stayed for another 5 days! We are planning to return to enjoy the winter sun on the wonderful Sunshine Coast in 2018. Our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful hosts for allowing others to share their beautiful beach side retreat.

Million Dollar VIEWS!!!

From the moment we arrived we were blown away by this gorgeous place. Stunning wrap around views of the Sunshine Coast from BOTH floors of the apartment. The place is massive and very, very comfortable.

Loved everything about it - from the interior design, the spacious layout and the stunning master suite. Did not want to check out.

The owner Melissa is super friendly and helpful and thinks of everything to make your stay luxurious and relaxing.

My family and I are really looking forward to coming again. A real GEM in the Sunshine Coast.

Stunning, spacious penthouse

We have rented many places across the world but have never had anything as well designed, furnished and appointed as Melissa's fantastic penthouse at Salt on Kings. The massive terraces, affording panoramic views of the beach and surrounding coastline, are so well appointed that one is loathe to wander down the road to the beautiful Kings Beach. The furnishings and fittings are all to a high standard as was the cleanliness of the apartment.

From the initial enquiry through to the booking and subsequent rental Melissa was very easy to contact and genuinely "interested" in her guests. We will definitely be back to Salt on Kings at some stage in the future and will have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this high end accommodation to friends and family.

Spacious Penthouse Apartment with stunning ocean views

From the moment we arrived we knew that this apartment was going to be something special. It was very spacious with lots of places to enjoy a meal and a drink but it also has lots of places where you can get away and chill and relax with a good book and a glass of wine whilst enjoying the fresh salt sea air. We were lucky enough to enjoy the new years eve fireworks from the top deck and it was stunning. It has everything that you could want or ever think of from the surf board to the beach towels to the spa bath on the deck to the BBQ on the lower deck with so many different platters and glasses to choose from. The lift from the carpark with the trolley to take up your luggage is a big bonus. It is within walking distance to the beach and a good coffee shop and a few different options for eating out. Melissa was a pleasure to communicate with from the very beginning and nothing was too much trouble for her. The bond was refunded promptly and the entire transaction was a breeze. We will certainly be returning again to this magnificent property and have many happy memories of our stay.

Pictures don't do it justice

Melissa is an incredible host and was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions I had prior to arrival. Everything in the apartment was just as I expected and there were very detailed instructions for all appliances and equipment. What you can't tell from the description and the pictures in the listing is how impressive the views are. The multiple outside decks simply can't be beat. There is not a better location on Kings Beach. Tons of restaurants and shops within a short walk of the apartment and you can be on the beach in less than 5 minutes. Also, the available surfboards/boogie boards and beach towels were a great addition. Will definitely stay here again when I make it back to Australia!
