We are situated next to the famous yatagala temple in a small village, 8kms from galle, 6kms from unawatuna and 7kms from the pinnaduwa exit on the southern expressway.
About the property:
Etamba house is decorated with a mix of sri lankan antiques and contemporary furniture giving it it's unique style.
The huge main room of the house comprises of a large modern and well equipped kitchen, living and dining areas.
There are two stunning outdoor living / dinning areas which overlook thge paddy field and pool.
About the Space:
There are 3 bedrooms - one is a large family room which has a double and a single bed, but can accommodate more if needed. There are two further double bedroom, all are en suite with open air showers. Comfortable beds with mosquito nets and good quality linen. All rooms have air con and ceiling fans.
There are 3 staff at etamba house that will look after you in an un-obtrusive way. A cook who will make you breakfast in the mornings, a housekeeper who will clean the bedrooms and bathrooms daily and does the general house cleaning. And a gardener who looks after the pool and garden.
If you want to cook for yourself we can arrange for help going to the supermarkets or local fish markets etc.
Lunch and dinner can also be catered for you by our chef if needed.
Etamba House is the perfect place to stay for a trip to the south coast, and a far better alternative to high end luxury resorts. The house and garden are thoughtfully designed and beautifully appointed - a true oasis; and the service, including delicious Sri Lankan cuisine, exceptional.
