Utterly disappointing
We’ve been staying at HPS every year (sometimes 2 times a year) for almost 10 years now and I can’t begin to describe how disappointed we were with this unit. It’s probably the only unit in the building that has not been updated. After going to the grocery store the day we checked and spending hundreds of dollars we discovered that the refrigerator didn’t work properly. We contacted the rental agency immediately (they were pleasant to deal with) and told them the issue. We apparently were not the only renters to complain about the refrigerator and they suggested we “buy coolers until they could get in touch with the owner.” Once the owner was reached a new refrigerator couldn’t be delivered until Thursday (we stayed Saturday to Saturday) at which point basically did us no good. The glass mural wall was broken in several places and taped together with packaging tape, the headboards of the beds were not attached to the frames (just leaning against the wall), the coffee table was ready to fall apart when moved to used the sleep sofa, which also had a terrible odor, closed the bathroom door and the exhaust fan fell out of the ceiling and the tile flooring was broken up in several places and in pieces on the floor, the front door threshold wasn’t even attached to the door framing. All in all the unit was absolutely terrible and we had to live out of coolers for a week with 3 small children. I would never recommend this particular unit to ANYONE unless there is a complete overhaul
