The house was in a great central location for travelling to Mesa Verde, Canyonlands, and Arches. I was somewhat disappointed that it didn't have air conditioning, but that was my fault for not confirming. Otherwise, it was clean with new carpet and updated bathrooms. Ideal for our family of six.
Wonder place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Monticello, UT. We'll definitely come back again next time we go to Monticello.
We stayed 9 nights while visiting Arches, Canyonlands (both Island in the Sky and Needles District), and Mesa Verde (Colorado) National Parks and Hovenweep National Monument. Quiet neighborhood, lovely view of Abajo Mountains and within easy walking distance of beautiful public golf course. We were concerned about renting through a company (Evolve); however, our local community contact was very responsive and helpful. Generous supply of amenities such as paper towels, soaps, shampoos, tissues, toilet paper, towels, sheets, laundry supplies, dishes, etc. The home and yard were clean and well maintained. Vegans - don't miss EklecticKafe in Moab. Also, Red Cliffs Lodge on Highway SR58 northeast of Moab on the Colorado River is a jewel with an extensive collection of western movie memorabilia from movies shot in the area plus great luncheon buffet and scenery that can't be beat..
The house is roomy, extremely clean and comfortable, with beds enough for 10 (with the pull out couch and basement room.) and, is loaded with all the hi tech amenities folks like. It has 2 full bathrooms, one of which has a nice big bathtub (perfect for soaking tired muscles after a day of mountain biking)
The kitchen is fully equipped if you are inclined to make your own meals, which we did, and has direct access to an enormous back yard and patio to enjoy the mountain views from.
This house is walking distance to a great little grocery store and convenience store, and less than an hours drive to some of the world famous Moab mountain biking trails. In 1 hour you are within reach of every adventure the area has to offer.
We plan on coming back for sure. This location is the reason we got to experience this bucket list vacation!!!
