Why drive for several hours with kids getting tired and irritated when you can have this spacious holiday house a short drive from Auckland. Close yet secluded, serene and a place to be enjoyed by all.

Comfortably accommodates 12 guests. If you need more space for a bigger group then there is an internal access unit also available onsite. (Combined the house and unit can accomodate 17 guests). Look at Bookabach listing Number 33320.

The home is just a few steps to Waiwera Beach which is quite safe for the kids for either long walks, swims or just simply lying on the beach watching native woodpigeons across the river in the Wenderholm Regional Park?s native forests perhaps even catch a glimpse of Kawahi jumping out of the water.

Bring along your kayak / boat, fishing or snorkelling gear and paddle either upriver or down into white sandy Waiwera estuary and cove, great fishing and snorkelling just off and around Mahurangi Island. (Walk to the Mahurangi Island possible at low tide).

In the event the weather packs in, all is not lost as relax in the mineral spa or take the days swimming activities into Waiwaera Thermal and Spa Resort using our discount vouchers perhaps even spoil yourself with a massage or beauty makeover, or simply light up and relax by the fireplace with heaps of books, board games or movies provided.

Plenty of off-street parking available as well as safe no traffic 10 meter crossing to beach via adjacent park like reserve.

Waiwera Hot Pools / Thermal Spa Resort and Waiwera Spa Beauty and Massage Clinic are just a short walk from the bach. Orewa, Silverdale, Whangaparaoa or Warkworth townships are only minutes away for dining, exploring or shopping.

PS. There is a smaller unit on the bottom level which shares the mineral spa and laundry services when occupied. If exclusive access of entire property is important please enquire during booking.

Special conditions:

No Smoking inside house.

Not a party house.

50% deposit required for booking confirmation plus $150 refundable bond.

In the event that the house is not cleaned a $150 cleaning fee will apply.

The BBQ when used should be cleaned properly otherwise a $25 cleaning fee will apply.

Visitors should avoid excessive noise and activities that may cause nuisance to neighbors, other guests and wildlife.

3 night minimum stay applies for booking over long weekends or public holidays.

Extras: Linen (Required, NZ$100.00 per stay); Bond- Refundable within 7 days after stay (Required, NZ$150.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave;

We loved staying here.

We loved staying here. It was ideal for a big group of us who were involved with our son's wedding in Puhoi. Great spaces to hang out in and a beautiful quiet spot right on the beachfront with everything we needed. Would highly recommend this house to anyone with a big family. Would definitely return if we needed to again.

This very large house caters well for a large group like ours. The multiple bedrooms, well equipped kitchens, large bathrooms and comfortable seating areas made it so easy. Marvellous views of the river / estuary from the front rooms, and only a few steps from the deck to the beach. Excellent place to stay.

Nice view. The property is literally on beachfront. Great for kids and big family. Few improvements: the couches need some cleaning and vacuumed, as there are dust in the air. The spa pool feels unsafe and is unsuable.
