We loved our stay at the Jasmine! It was perfect for our family of 5!!
The cabin was nice and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen lacked a few essentials like a potato peeler and a scrubby sponge. The oven set off the smoke alarm several times because it was not cleaned well. There was only one dish towel and not enough tegular towels for five people for four days. There is a washer and dryer but who wants to spend their vacation doing laundry. Also there was no firewood supplied which all of the other cabins we have rented had. Overall it was a good place to stay but could use a little tlc in some areas.
The lights on the front porch were out (almost causing a trip and fall going down the stairs). If the WiFi was connected the TV would cut in and out. Found previous guest socks under the edge of the bathroom sink. But the worse thing was not having water the last night of the stay. This cabin is on a well and the pump quit working so we were with out on the last night. Maint Man left is a bucket to dip water from the hot tub so that the toilets could be flushed. I can say that we were refunded for the last night we were there.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Jasmine cabin! It had everything we needed for 4 adults. The location was perfect being situated between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, it made it easy to get to either place quickly. The cabin offers a beautiful peaceful surroundings of woods that was so relaxing to be either in a rocking chair or hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much.
We really enjoyed this cabin. It was very clean and inviting. It's about 15-20 minutes of narrow roads away from everything. The beds are quite uncomfortable. The hot tub was nice to sit in at night.
I was very disappointed with this rental. I have rented for years from vrbo and home away and never felt like I was staying somewhere less than par. The images sold me that this property was clean, fresh and everything in it would probably be new.
1. oven did not cook correctly at all.
2. shower upstairs is awful and leaks a running stream to the 1st floor directly over where you stand to wash dishes.
3. towels were not of good quality and no difference between bath and kitchen towels.
4. outside lighting was very dim in front and back
5. kitchen supplies other than the plates and bowls appear to be from a long time ago. I wouldn't even use some of the supplies because they were so nasty or old.
6. 5 nights rented and we received 1 laundry detergent (not bad but we were only given 4 bath towels so we had to wash), 2 dishwashing cubes, 2 trash bags.
7. 2 extra pillows in addition to the 4 on the bed but WITHOUT pillow cases and stained
8. bed sheets were old
9. downstairs bed should be replaced.
positives are the location, rocking chairs outside, the interior minimalist of the home and the rustic cabin feel. But the amenities and supplies were well below par for my family and this problem could be easily fixed.
