|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
We are a new developing destination stay for runners, hikers, cyclists, cave explorers or for those who just want to relax in a quiet setting. We are located 30 kilometers (18 Miles) outside Chiang Mai city, on the outskirts of Ob Khan National Park.
I have 3 beautiful bamboo huts for rent listed under "A Vegetarian Adventure", units 1, 2 and 3", All are identical and located on the same property. Unit #3 is more secluded for extra privacy. The huts can accommodate 2 people on a twin size bed and comes with a mosquito net, lamp, fan, electrical outlet, outside sitting area and a dresser/safety box.
I make breakfast, lunch and dinner here as there are no restaurants in walking distance. Most people have lunch when they are away on day trips exploring the surroundings, but can be cooked for you if you intend to stay and relax for the day. I make mostly vegetarian food for breakfast. Lunch and dinner is a mix of vegetarian, meat and seafood dishes. ( I myself am a vegetarian and my husband a meat eater) Breakfast items include eggs, toast, hash browns, cereal, muesli, fruit, yogurt and fruit shakes. Guests eat with us and other guests in a family style gathering. Please let me know if you have a special diet before you arrive. There are 2 mini-marts located in the village and a 7/11 and German bakery/restaurant a few kilometers down the road. And as always, drinking water is always free as I have a water purification system. I also offer tours to the National Parks, Caves, Waterfalls and other nearby attractions. When you enter the National Park from my location, there are hundreds of trails to hike or run on. There is also a abandoned dog adoption center where you can volunteer to take dogs for a walk help take care and play with them.
I am located in a small village with all the sites, smells and sounds you would expect from a small Thai village. It takes about 30 minutes to drive from the city of Chiang Mai to my place. Just off a main cycling route to the city. You will see many cyclists coming and going to the city day and night for training exercises and fun. I am close to many handicraft areas and the famous Baan Tawai Handicraft Village.
I offer free pick up from Chiang Mai International Airport, the bus and train stations or any other place around town. So there is no need to worry about how to find or get to my place. I will find you. Renting a motorbike (Which we do) or bicycle (Free to use) is the easiest way to get around on your own and explore the area and sights, as there is no bus or taxi service out here. If you decide you want to go to the city and don't want to go by motorbike and want to go by car, I charge 300 Baht each way for gas.
House Rules: Come and go as you please.
