Grandma's House

  • 5 of 5

Our family has been coming to the home place for about 5 years. We love the house. If you ever wished you could go and stay one more night at your grandparents' house, the homplace is the place to go. During the summer months, we love going to the Mennonite farm (in Delano) and getting fresh vegetables to cook in the kitchen. Last year, we went during Christmas. The house was decorated beautifully, and the gas log made the day. Our boys love running and playing in the yard. The fire pit is a great hit as well. One trip, we had family pictures taken on the grounds at the home place. It's a great place, and the owners are great!

Perfect for family time

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from staying at Homeplace. It is in a beautiful area and accommodated our family very comfortably. Perfect alternative than staying in a hotel with young children. Very close to outdoor adventures and hiking. Relaxing and peaceful. Thank you for the hospitality.

Thunder rock 100

  • 5 of 5

We loved the home! It was perfect for our family and friends for my husband's race. We were close to all the action, but still had a quiet and relaxing escape. The grounds were well maintained and the kids enjoyed having space to run and play. The home was clean, comfortable and very charming. Loved all the books and decorations.. It really felt like home.

Wonderful 2-week stay.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at The Homeplace--the house was exactly as described--older and not fancy, but quite comfortable, perfectly clean, and spacious. Great deck and outdoor areas. Reliable cable and wifi. Easy booking, arrival, and departure. Convenient to river, hiking, biking, Cleveland, Chattanooga, and the Chilhowee Gliderport in Benton. No on-site laundry, but there's a good laundromat in Benton.

Outstanding 8 Night Stay!!!!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was absolutely wonderful!! The house was immaculately clean!! It was extremely comfortable and a pleasure in every way. We stayed for 8 nights as our son was getting married in the area and we are from Missouri. It was the perfect place for us to stay with all of the wedding preparations.

You all certainly have a little piece of heaven in Tennessee!!!

Very cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We chose the homeplace because it was a good halfway meeting place for our family. We really enjoyed the quiet surroundings and cozy inside. We liked playing family games and sharing conversations around the gas fireplace. Not fancy, but an exceptionally clean and inviting place. It reminded me of my Grandparents house!
