***My calendar has been updated for late spring discounts!!! NYC in the spring is awesome! Please note the listing price is a starting rate. Summer rates are different*****
I'd say my place is unique because of the location, right in the heart of three neighborhoods (east village, soho, lower east side). A spacious lay out affords a comfortable stay for everyone. Two true bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment are great for privacy.
I may be flexible for arrival or departure times however must be coordinated prior to arrival.
You'll have access to my entire apartment. I won't be there during your stay. Kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms are all available. There is heat, a/c, cable tv, hi-speed and reliable internet. I also provide lots of towels, linens for your stay. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed and the living room has a convertible bed that sleep one.
Interaction with Guests
I will not be at the apartment or present during your stay. I pretty much meet, give keys and depart leaving you with my beautiful home. I will be local in case anything comes up. I'll be happy to provide any suggestions and there are also maps of the neighborhood in the apartment.
The neighborhood is fantastic and hands down probably the best in all of NYC. Here you'll get the true experience of New York City. The entire neighborhood is very safe day or night. There is so much to do you could literally spend your whole vacation here and not leave the neighborhood and not get bored!!:) There are restaurants, historical landmarks, bars, retail, boutiques, spas, parks, children parks, east river boardwalk and much more.
Transportation is very very convenient. The subway is one block away (F train) and the express trains are only a few blocks away (B,D). The 6, n, r are also very close by. You can get to anywhere in the city from my apartment.
Other Things to Note
All utilities are included, cable, WiFi, towels, linens etc
I'm a hardworking and friendly New Yorker. I love to host guests and find pleasure in helping people get to know my wonderful city. I transplanted to NYC about 10 years ago and fell in love with the city the moment I arrived.
Beautiful and comfortable for groups and the location is superb.
We had a nice stay on the edge of Soho. There was plenty of room for five of us and the apartment was very clean. The apartment is five flights up (no elevator). There is a Whole Foods across the street and over. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Prune across the street served a wonderful breakfast. Lucien, one half block away served excellent drinks, dinner and atmosphere. Balthazar Bakery is a 10 min walk. If you want to be near Little Italy and Soho, this is perfect. We fully recommend this home. Note: The owner communicates well, but the property manager could improve.
This unit is exactly what is advertised. It was clean and perfect for my husband and I.
The bed is comfy and the unit was clean. It's in a great area across the street from Whole Foods and the subway station! I would recommend this unit as I would love to come back!!!!
My three friends and I had a great stay at the apartment. It was clean, functional and everything was just as pictured - we had all we needed for our four-night stay. It's located on the third floor of the building so there's a couple of flights of stairs involved but we didn't have any issues getting our luggage in and out.
The location itself was perfect for exploring NYC. The F train is just around the corner with connections to get you basically anywhere you want on and off the island! Notable eateries like Katz's Deli and Russ & Daughters are in short walking distance and there are also plenty of nice bars and restaurants within a three-block radius.
Communication and check in was super easy with very quick responses. Thank you!
My family of 5 stayed at this lovely 2 bedroom apartment Thanksgiving weekend. We drove up from Maryland to NYC and arrived to meet up for key pickup. There was no parking due to the apartment being close to lots of late night activities in the area. This was not a problem, we took turns unloading car to take suitcases/bags up to our 4th floor apartment. It's an older brownstone building, no elevator, long flights of stairs, and from the various smells & sounds...I suspect great cooks, smokers (tobacco & other ;) ), and music lovers. Like the owner told us within a block there is WholeFoods, pharmacy, restaurants, subway, parks, and everything you would want. We like to cook and could have used some better cooking utensils, toaster, and counter space; but we just ate in the living room. The mattresses were comfortable on the beds, the futon as expected not as much. We had WiFi and cable TV in every room. Parking improved by morning, we moved our car and only moved it again for street sweeping (move to opposite side) until we left for home. We took the subway everywhere! The F train is on the corner and within 1/2 mile you can get to J, Q, 4, and R which we did, when we didn't want to ride the F to a connection which would add more time to our trip. The apartment was clean, convenient, and compact. We were not used to sharing one bathroom but it made us laugh at how spoiled we are at home with everyone having their own. My teenagers and I enjoyed our stay and I would stay again.
Nice cozy place for me and 4 other friends. The subway was right around the corner, so we were able to take to go uptown easily. The apartment is central to a bunch of bars and pizza places within walking distance. There is a whole foods nearby if you need groceries and a CVS that is like a 10 min walk away if you need other things. There were plenty of towels and the place is fairly clean. The wifi is a little so and the AC was a bit loud but overall the place was nice. There is no elevator though, so if you have bad knees or trouble getting up stairs, just be careful.
This is a great place for a group to stay. As an older single woman, 4 flight of stairs and the neighborhood was too much. Other guests who are younger could find it fun.
You'll be in the heart of the east village. Everything is close by tourist attractions, grocery store, food, drinks, retail, landmarks, and the subway. You'll love the neighborhood!
