Wheeler Lookout is nestled among evergreens and aspens but yet just minutes away from the base of the Chile Express Chairlift! The living, dining and kitchen areas are open concept so guests can visit while preparing favorite meals, assembling puzzles on the dining table (the table seats 6-8) or watching movies on the large flat screen HD TV (Direct TV service and DVD player). The living room furniture is comfortable with two reclining chairs and a new sofa. The wood burning fireplace will keep you cozy warm on chilly evenings. Wheeler Lookout is named for the view of magnificent Wheeler Peak from the living room and the large deck. Two bedrooms on the main level each have a queen bed; the third bedroom has a single bed plus a desk and chair for a quiet place to work on your pad or laptop. The roomy loft area is fitted with four single beds. In addition, an oversized chair and ottoman make a perfect reading nook, then convert into a futon single size bed for additional sleeping. Two bathrooms are on the main level; one is a full bathroom with shower/tub combination and single sink oversized vanity. The other bathroom is fitted with a shower (no bathtub) and single sink vanity. Wi-Fi and a landline phone will keep you in touch with family, and friends and work. A full size clothes washer and dryer are provided for your convenience. Guests have use of the propane gas grill. (The garage is for owner use only.) A favorite feature of Wheeler Lookout is the large wrap around deck. Many guests enjoy starting their mornings leaning on the railing with a cup of hot coffee while watching the sun rise, then relaxing on the deck furniture with wine and appetizers while watching the sun set over the mountains. Activities in the area include: Fishing, Boating, Golf, Sight Seeing, Tennis, River Rafting, Cycling, Horseback Riding, Hiking, Wildlife, Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding, and Shopping.
