From the moment you step into this property, you'll be amazed at how you have left the city behind to find an oasis of calm and safety.
Living areas look out to a lovely cottage garden, dappled sunlight falling on grass and brick pathways beyond the Oamaru stone -enclosed courtyard.
This property is perfectly located for a stay in Christchurch, whether you are just passing through on holiday or coming for that special event: concert at the Arena, sports fixtures at the cricket and rugby stadia, Arts Festivals or NZ Cup Week.
The Merivale location means you're only minutes away from that food and fashion precinct; and if you've come to town to see the kids during the school term you are right on the doorstep for all the private schools.
Maybe you need some accommodation whilst you seek something more permanent as you relocate to the city? This property gives you everything you need as you find your feet: broadband connectivity, Sky TV, and landline.
Hagley Park is one of the great assets of the city: join the locals and appreciate the perfect, safe jogging circuits, have a round at the Hagley Golf Club, or get some tennis in either at the courts in North Hagley or the Hagley Tennis Club itself.
Although I prefer 2 day bookings, I will take single night bookings at $220 for up to a group of 4 (with $25 per extra adult and $20 per extra child, per night). Make an enquiry for a speedy response.
Two night stay preferred but single night stays available from $220/night (4 adults). Extra adults $25; extra children $20

No pets thank you.

Definitely an old-world charm to this cottage - loved it<3 Loved the location too, easy access to airport, eateries and shopping!
Central. Lovely walks around Hagley Park. Fabulous Victorian ambience.
A true place of magic. We would have loved to stay forever. The house has a fabulous layout and interior and the garden is a delight. It's very deep, with places to sit in the sun or in the shade.
Centrally located to parks and city in quiet area. Well appointed cosy home. Very steep steps with no downstairs toilet.
This a beautiful historic cottage, full of character and very luxurious. It is in a nice and central position which is really convenient for the attractions and restaurants - the Botanic gardens are a nice stroll across the park. You can also get on the main routes out of the city pretty quickly and easily. Highly recommended.
Central location in a fabulously quiet street. The cottage was clean, beautifully furnished, with charming heritage features. I loved the garden and court yard.
