Clean, modern and steps away from everything!

The location of this condo is amazing! You are literally across canal street from bourbon street. The check-in with the concierge took 2 seconds and they were very friendly. The condo was large and fit our needs perfectly. We only received one set of keys, which worked fine for us, but I would have preferred to have another set of keys for the other couple staying with us. I had read a few negative reviews before our stay which made me nervous, but after staying there myself I realize some people just can’t be pleased...this place is awesome & well-priced. Book with confidence & be the hero for choosing it!! Also recommend Mr. B’s for dinner & Brennan’s has a famous breakfast that folks change their flights for...all within walking distance.

Best location, modern finishes, historical bldg

The Mariner is a historical building, with modern remodel, in the PERFECT location. Literally walk across Canal street and you are on Bourbon. I liked it though because that 1 block certainly helped keep the noise to a minimum and there is a 24 hour convenience store and grill that is kitty corner from the building called "Brothers," which came in handy a couple of times. If you want to ride the Trolley cars, you can do that right on Canal too.

The unit itself was perfect, Soaring Ceilings with tall windows, 2 large bedrooms & 2 beautiful bathrooms, so neither couple felt cheated. Kitchen was modern and there was even a European all-in-one washer/dryer for our private use, if we had needed it.

I had read a prior review regarding lack of cleanliness and flat/hard I emailed ahead to emphasize that I wanted the unit cleaned thoroughly and wanted comfortable pillows...That's exactly what we received!

Lastly, the concierge key pick up system is easy & awesome...however, I only received 1 key for 2 couples...which didn't impact us...but another key needs to be added. Another reviewer said it was a nightmare for them, so if this will be an issue for you, remember to email ahead.

These folks seem to provide a great service and you can't beat the price!! I highly recommend.

Great location, some things to be desired

The location of the apartment is great, steps from the French Quarter. The three rooms were a great size for our family of four. Some amenities and details were lacking however. For example, there were no blankets or pillows left for the pullout couch and my sister had to sleep in a winter coat with the sheets. The shower did not drain well; it took two days for the heat to work- etc.
