Experience Life at Maritime by Stay Alfred |

Built in 1893, The Maritime building was recently fully renovated and converted into upscale residences. As the first skyscraper in New Orleans, the building is now on the National Register of Historic Places. During the renovation, traditional elements were preserved, giving this property both old and new charm. |

Your condo features an open concept floorplan with large windows which make the space feel open and airy. The light, coffee colored bamboo floors, from the living room to the bedroom, glisten in the windows' light. The kitchen is stunning, with dark wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. It is sure to make meal prep a treat. |

This two bedroom, two bath condo offers a king size bed, queen size bed, and queen size pull-out sofa sleeper to comfortably accommodate up to six people. Huge, sliding bamboo walls divide each bedroom from the living room. The master suite features a private bathroom. And the second full bathroom guarantees nobody's sleep or privacy will be disturbed. |

There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy all the creature comforts of home. You'll even have a washer and dryer at your disposal. Plenty of amenities are available throughout the building as well. The fitness center features a "sky view" ceiling and sauna and steam rooms. To cool off, take a dip in the rooftop pool. |

Exploring the city couldn't be easier from the Maritime's central New Orleans location. You are just a block from Canal Street and all the dining, shopping, and nightlife it has to offer. If you need more family friendly attractions, just hop on the trolley and head to the Canal Street Station. There you'll find the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas which also has an IMAX theater. No matter what you are looking for, the Maritime puts you close to it all. |

Let Stay Alfred host your next trip to New Orleans. |

Clean, modern and steps away from everything!

  • 5 of 5

The location of this condo is amazing! You are literally across canal street from bourbon street. The check-in with the concierge took 2 seconds and they were very friendly. The condo was large and fit our needs perfectly. We only received one set of keys, which worked fine for us, but I would have preferred to have another set of keys for the other couple staying with us. I had read a few negative reviews before our stay which made me nervous, but after staying there myself I realize some people just can’t be pleased...this place is awesome & well-priced. Book with confidence & be the hero for choosing it!! Also recommend Mr. B’s for dinner & Brennan’s has a famous breakfast that folks change their flights for...all within walking distance.

Best location, modern finishes, historical bldg

  • 5 of 5

The Mariner is a historical building, with modern remodel, in the PERFECT location. Literally walk across Canal street and you are on Bourbon. I liked it though because that 1 block certainly helped keep the noise to a minimum and there is a 24 hour convenience store and grill that is kitty corner from the building called "Brothers," which came in handy a couple of times. If you want to ride the Trolley cars, you can do that right on Canal too.

The unit itself was perfect, Soaring Ceilings with tall windows, 2 large bedrooms & 2 beautiful bathrooms, so neither couple felt cheated. Kitchen was modern and there was even a European all-in-one washer/dryer for our private use, if we had needed it.

I had read a prior review regarding lack of cleanliness and flat/hard I emailed ahead to emphasize that I wanted the unit cleaned thoroughly and wanted comfortable pillows...That's exactly what we received!

Lastly, the concierge key pick up system is easy & awesome...however, I only received 1 key for 2 couples...which didn't impact us...but another key needs to be added. Another reviewer said it was a nightmare for them, so if this will be an issue for you, remember to email ahead.

These folks seem to provide a great service and you can't beat the price!! I highly recommend.

Great location, some things to be desired

  • 3 of 5

The location of the apartment is great, steps from the French Quarter. The three rooms were a great size for our family of four. Some amenities and details were lacking however. For example, there were no blankets or pillows left for the pullout couch and my sister had to sleep in a winter coat with the sheets. The shower did not drain well; it took two days for the heat to work- etc.

Great Location

  • 4 of 5

We had 2 couples staying for the weekend to see the city and go to a football game. The location is perfect (easy walking distance to the french quarter & tons of restaurants/bars) and we we always felt safe. This was our first experience with Stay Alfred and they were fantastic to deal with and easy to reach when we had a few questions while checking in.. The condo was clean, comfortable and a great layout for 2 couples. However, the mattresses were very hard and cheap and the pillows were so old and FLAT that we had to put towels underneath them to sleep. You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the hallway and even with a white noise machine, we were woken up very early by slamming doors and the family that was staying across the hall. We would absolutely consider staying here again but only if they mattress and pillows have been replaced.
