About Teague Gallagher

Now retired. born in Donegal, lived in Wicklow for many years and have good knowledge of surrounding area. Happy to offer plenty of advice and suggestions on places to see and things to do locally.

Teague Gallagher purchased this house in 1987

Why Teague Gallagher chose Wicklow

Worked nearby for many years before retiring. This place ticks all the boxes for me. As a person who loves the sea, the house is just a short drive from the beach and Greystones marina. There is a beautiful beach less than 30 mins away with miles of golden sand, paradise. I love walking and am spoiled for choice locations here. Shops, pubs and restaurants are nearby and if you like golf, well ....... you hit the jackpot .....

What makes this house unique

I fell in love with this house the first time I saw it, its a lovely bungalow and it was the location that was the icing on the cake. Over the years I have done a lot of work to it, improving it all the time. Infrastructure in the area has improved alongside. It is a very much sought after area to live because of its proximity to Dublin while living in the

Highly recommended home-from-home

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay at the bungalow. The host was very welcoming, and the bungalow was a genuine home-from-home. The bungalow has three large bedrooms with comfortable beds, and nicely-appointed living and dining areas, plus a private walled garden. 'Home at Last' is near Greystones, which is a lovely town by the coast, and also at the end of a DART line, so good links to the centre of Dublin. We're already planning our return trip!

Teague is the BEST!!!

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The wood burning stove was a nice touch on those cold nights. Teague went above and beyond by taking us to the grocery store to do some shopping for the long weekend and for arranging a taxi to the airport for us. We appreciate you so much and look forward to staying there again in the future. We highly recommend ‘home at last’ to everyone!

Super cute!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience with VRBO. I was skeptical at first but am definitely sold! This property was clean and cozy and a great location for us. Very close to the train to go into Dublin with free parking! Teague was an awesome host. He was readily available to answer any questions we had and was very informative with things around the neighborhood such as dining and touristy things. I would absolutely recommend this property!!!

"Home at Last"

  • 5 of 5

My family really enjoyed our stay in Home At Last. The listing description was accurate, the house was in excellent condition, and had everything one could want in a vacation rental. The location allows exploration of Wicklow, yet is close enough to Dublin to allow for visits to the city. The owner was very responsive during booking and was friendly and thoughtful in person. I would highly recommend this property and plan on returning there in the future.
