The location of this condo was simply the best. We were able to walk to dinning, shopping and even Target for cold medicine. It was a very quiet unit with an amazing view of the city. Perfect place to enjoy 2 nights with old girlfriends.
Unit and building were very easy to find with convenient access to everything--1 block from the Max Light Rail (Red Line.) Beds were firm but comfy, bathrooms had basic toiletries and the kitchen had all the basics, though we didn't use any of them. Only real "nuisance" was we had to take out all of the trash upon departure--not a deal breaker, just something I haven't seen before. And be warned: in the winter time the floor to ceiling glass windows make it much colder in the room than you'd expect--bring sweatshirts!!!
Awesome visit to 950 SW 9th Ave. Portland, OR during the recent snow storm! Limited driving options because Portland refuses to treat their streets for ice and/or snow.....be forewarned! Not to worry.......thanks to this ideal location, we were able to walk to the wedding and the reception as well as multiple restaurants and grocery and retail stores (including Les Schwab to purchase a set of chains for our vehicle)! We rented two units for one week in Oct. 2016. Overall the place was nice and also very clean. The sales people I worked with in Sept were very nice, they worked to find what would work for our group and generally helpful. It seemed the people we were connected to after the confirmed reservation were always acting as if they were reading from a script and not helpful. We had some issues during our stay that the company needs to address with the property owner lease. The HVAC system needs some work; the thermostat is pre-set, can be unlocked to an extent. One of our two units was 6 hours off actual time so it cycled different. Some adjustments could not be made via their posted instructions. This resulted in uncomfortable temperatures in at certain times. The overall result was the large bedroom was generally cold and the small bedroom was generally hot. When it was windy outside there was a lot of external air moving into the room and through the entry door trim. The small bedroom would be nice if it had a TV. I was surprised the bathroom step- over tub/shower did not have safety grab bars. You had to be very careful when getting into and out of the tub/shower.
Modern apartment, well furnished and with great views of the city. Clean and well managed in a modern high-rise building right in the middle of the downtown area. I would stay here again.
Staying with my wife and three kids, ages 13, 11, and 5, we enjoyed the sleek modern design and quiet building. The location could not have been better, right in the middle of downtown near food trucks, shopping, and many public transit lines. Kitchen was a great asset. Only drawback was the sleeper sofa, which was broken by previous guests and couldn't be fixed in time for our visit. But overall all five members of our family liked the accommodations.
