Spacious 2 Bedroom Park Avenue Condo in the Heart of Portland

A chilled out retreat right in the middle of the action, this sweet condo has everything you need for an awesome Portland getaway.

-Right from the moment when you open the door to your apartment on Park Avenue, you'll be in love. Inside you will find:

-A comfy king sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen sized bed in the second bedroom and a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. You can bring along lots of friends and family and everyone will have plenty of space to snooze.

-A balcony for admiring those stunning views of Portland while you sip your morning coffee.

-A kitchen with up-to-date stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, so that you can stock up on fresh ingredients from the Portland farmer's market and whip up something delicious and impress your friends.

-Elegant plank flooring and luxurious carpeting.

-Free cable TV and WiFi. Because how could we expect you to live without WiFi? That's just inhumane!

-A washer and dryer, so that if you spill Portland coffee on your clothes, you can get them looking as good as new.

Plus, not only is the apartment amazing, but the building itself will make you feel like a rock star. (Okay, it's Portland, so maybe an indie rockstar). We've included everything this building has to offer in the amenities section, but just to give you a teaser . . .

Sit back with a cold beer on the rooftop lounge and gaze out over the West Hills, Mount Hood and the Willamette River. Hit the 24 hour fitness center and burn some calories on the state of the art equipment so that you can indulge in the Portland culinary scene guilt free. Plus, there are a bright and spacious community room and patio to use at your leisure.

That's just the preview - check out the full list in the amenities section for everything this stunning property has to offer.

The LADD building is in a dream location - right in the middle of all that is cool and funky about Portland.

On Wednesday you can walk two blocks to the Farmers market on Park Avenue, and on Saturday it's four blocks away in the opposite direction. The Art Museum is only two blocks away and often has exhibitions and shows that take over the Park Blocks which are free to attend. Plus, the Arlene Schnitzer Hall is right there -- ideal for catching some great shows. If you want to make the most of Portland's cultural scene during your visit, this is a prime place to base yourself.

Here are a few of our favourite local spots, located only a short walk away from your apartment:

Raven & Rose: Looking for somewhere cosy to take your date? The Raven & Rose is located right next to your apartment in the elegant and historic Ladd Carriage House, and it has a romantic atmosphere that's perfect for a special meal. The menu is filled with British classics, such as lightly flaky and battered fish and chips. The beautiful dining room is inspired by the Irish and British countryside, and the wine list is superb.

The Rookery Bar: In what used to be the hayloft of the old carriage house, you'll find the Rookery Bar, a cozy spot complete with a couch, fireplace and plenty of comfy corners in which to cuddle. With a great cocktail menu, a selection of craft beers and great finger foods, this is a local favourite. Make sure that you visit on Tuesday to Friday from 4-6 pm to check out the great Happy Hour menu.

Love Belizean: If you have never tried Belizean food before, now is your chance. At this friendly and authentic restaurant, you can get delicious grilled chicken that falls right off the bone, served up with a generous helping of rice and beans cooked in coconut milk. The owner works at the restaurant, and she has a lot of love for her customers and her craft.

2 minute walk from your apartment on Park Avenue

Revolucion Coffee House: You'll love this adorable little coffee shop with friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere and lots of yummy Mexican treats. Try the mouthwatering piloncillo-enhanced cafe de olla . . . or one of the hearty atoles. They even have chilled cafe de olla to go, the perfect beverage for a hot day.

2 minute walk from your apartment on Park Avenue

The Picnic House- If you are looking for a great place to bring a large group for dinner, the Picnic House is a superb option. Try the wild mushroom soup or the risotto with duck confit. Plus, check out the beautiful 700 year old tree that has been turned into a wood table.

Great location and well furnished!

  • 5 of 5

We were here for a week, were able to walk to everything- restaurants, grocery store, museums, shops, and parks. The apt. is very well stocked with anything you will need, was clean and very comfortable for 3 adults. Nice to have the washer dryer! The check in instructions were very clear, with pictures of where to access the keys. The staff on duty in the lobby of the building were very pleasant. We had a corner apt. on the 10th floor, great views and we enjoyed the balcony. We would highly recommend this for couples or friends!

great place, great location, excellent working with StayAlfred

  • 5 of 5

Nice clean place, lots of great views and natural light in apartment. I was reluctant to use a company. I usually rent VRBOs from direct owners. But StayAlfred was great to work with. I would use them again without hesitation in another city.

City view condo

  • 3 of 5

The location is perfect. Great views from the 10th floor. This is a roomy 2-bedroom condo. The surfaces and appliances are cheap, but fine for vacation. But the mattress is long overdue to be replaced. You feel like you are sleeping directly on a spring and you sink into a hole. I did not sleep well at all and my body ached. I could not stay here again for that reason. They could stand to have a few more dishes so you don’t have to keep washing them over and over again. Same with the towels. I so wish these places would put better mattresses in them because I love the building.

Beautiful Apartment Great Location

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was beautiful, big windows, 2 full baths, and well appointed. The staff in the lobby was helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable about the area. We walked everywhere from the apartment. There is even coffee in the lobby if you arrive too early like we did. The only difficulty is the check-in directions could be more detailed but fortunately the lobby staff was helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect condo for a two person getaway

  • 4 of 5

When we arrived at 3:30 (check-in time of 3:00) the unit was still being cleaned. But by the time we parked in the lower level of the building and returned the crew was gone. The unit was nicely situated in a corner with wonderful views of the Portland skyline. The quiet location, just blocks from the Portland Art Museum, was perfect. And the tree lined park just outside the building was lovely. The only drawback to the unit is getting in and out. The instructions are a bit complicated especially after a long flight. But persevere and you will be rewarded. The people and dogs living in the building were very courteous and helpful to us. All in all we loved the unit and location.
