Once you’ve passed the beautiful Store Street to reach a hidden Mylady apartment on the first floor of a modern building you’ll step inside to find tasteful contemporary interiors. The open-plan living space is directly ahead, where there’s a brilliant white shiny dining table with Ghost armchairs for up to 10 next to a fire place. The kitchen units (opposite a huge inviting sofa) are sleek and subtle. There’s no clutter or fuss, just cool colours, touch lighting and understated furnishings.

All bedrooms have its ensuite, 1 bedroom is to the right of the front door, the other 2 are to the left.

As in the living room, there’s a view down to the street below, but you immediately feel at home and the soft leather sofa makes it hard to leave and to explore the city... actually the reason why you came to London...

The bed’s dark leather headboard stretches the length of the wall, and each bedroom has a TV mounted on the opposite wall. One bedroom with king size bed is tucked away to the rear with a view to the garden.

When finally you do descend, you’re right in the heart of the action. The best coffee, some of the hottest restaurants and many of the best galleries and museums in London are on your doorstep. Store Street, Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street, Soho and Covent Garden – it’s enough to sate even the most committed shopper.

The heart of the apartment is the living room with a large white shiny dining table with Designer Ghosts chairs to place up to 10 guests. The decorative marble fireplace in front of a buffed leather sofa to linger on, you might enjoy the curved 55inch TV and an open planned kitchen. Three easy-going bedrooms trimmed with sparks of orange and chartreuse is the spot for relaxation.

And with an always busy Oxford Street glittering shops nearby, there’s plenty beyond this spacious apartments when you wish to explore further

My parents were traveling all over the world, father was a diplomat. We never had a home for more than 2 years and I believed thats how people live. I experienced different cultures and learned to live in small homes like in Hong Kong, large Villas like in Arabia or proper houses in Germany. I am still a traveler and believe in modern Nomads ... it always keeps you awake.

My homes where I mostly live for a short time only are supposed to be lovely homes created by my heart for other travellers who might only be in town for a short stay or a long period of time - WELCOME!

Why Ika Maria chose Camden & Covent Garden

Neatly tucked away between the wealth of Marylebone, the edgy energy of Soho and the grandeur of Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia is peaceful and attractive, home to small media organisations, small pubs and small restaurants and a smattering of decent hotels. Wide streets lined with tall buildings in Victorian brick mingle with cosy side alleys, with a variety of architectural styles from the eighteenth century to the present day, all of it dominated by the BT Tower, one of London’s tallest and most iconic buildings. Tottenham Court Road is the major shopping street, and the best place in London to look for home furnishings and electronic goods. The area around Oxford Street mixes good high street shops with pubs and bars catching the overflow from Soho’s nightlife.

Excellent location!.Great service

We took our 2 teenage daughter with 2 friends to London for a week and were grateful that we found this apartment… the name Mylady sounded seducing. And what a great choice… It was just the right place for us, the girls taking 2 of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms were perfect, and we felt very comfortable in the backyard facing bedroom with also en-suite bathroom. The location is ideal! Tottenham Court Road Station is really is just 4 minutes away, Goodge Street Station even closer and whenever we needed a supermarket, restaurants, shops, pubs… its all only 2-3 minutes away. Store Street is amazing with fantastic coffee shops, a highly recommendable Italian restaurant, and as mentioned you can find everything on Tottenham Court Road.

With one pub at the corner, another (our favorite - The Rising Sun) 2 short blocks away --we were in heaven. But back to the apartment. It was clean, very well-stocked, light and roomy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We loved the large curved TV with a brand new Apple TV, each bedroom has its own TV which pleased our Teenage girls pretty much. Thank you to a professional host who provided an fantastic home. We all agreed that returning to the apartment after a busy day of touring was a great relief. We were home!

A beautful place

What a beautiful place

A really beautiful place to stay - the apartment is located off Tottenham Court Road in a quiet homey area on Store Street.

A warm welcome by the host who provided a welcome package with Nespresso Capsules and toiletries is a lovely gesture. We immediately felt like at home. A well equipped kitchen gave us the opportunity to have a dinner, the table with 8 chairs is a great place to join. A huge comfortable sofa, my first time we watched movies on a curved TV, nice bedding and immaculate linen, towels and bathrooms. The apartment is beautofully designed throughout, the safe pin lock door was appreciated when we wanted to split up as a group of 6 but no keys were needed.

We loved to live at that quiet place and we will keep our London tour in mind as a special event. You should try Olivetti, an Italian Restaurant just 2 mins away, there is also a small but good supermarket within 2 mins walk. If you are interested in a theatre weekend... all the famous theatres, entertainment and museums are in walking distance.

We had an amazing time

We had an amazing experience staying in this apartment. Comfortable, very stylish, well equipped, fantastic location, a good amount of space and quiet although so central. Normally we stay in a Hotel but It was so much nicer sharing a large apartment with the same luxurious amenities and details of a Hotel. The host was super helpful and friendly, but also we were left to be private once we had moved in. The location is brilliant with shops, bars and restaurants less than 2 minutes walk away. We were working so were able to get food easily and continue, as well as a small supermarket next door, and bigger supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. It was quiet during day and night and due to our workload it was exactly what we were hoping for. We would love to stay again and would recommend this as a great place to stay for friends, colleagues or a family.

We had a perfect time. The apartment was pristine and suited our needs perfectly. The location could not have been better- we were right in the middle of everything, yet it was quiet and comfortable. Ika and her team are absolutely lovely and very responsive- you feel like you are their only guest! If you need 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and the luxurious feeling of having TV in each bedroom, a central location and a kitchen where to cook like at home -- this is the place for you.Would book again for a longer stay in the future

Fantastic flat!

We had a fantastic stay at Dirks apartment Communication was brilliant and the apartment suited our needs perfectly well. The apartment has a good size, we were 2 families, 4 adults and 3 children and the living area was perfect for relaxing, watching TV, eating together and cooking! Additional extra touches such as an Apple TV, tea/ coffee, toiletires, e.g. really made the difference. The location could not be better- Oxford Street in 5 mins walking distance, Tottenham Court Road an ideal transport link. Dirk and his team made a great job, very responsive, the made us feel like being the only guest! I will definitely stay here again, everything you need for a short or long stay is here. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable Convenient great experience

Ika was a fantastic host. She communicated before, during and after our stay to ensure that everything was fine. We had the person managing the apartment meet us at the flat and give us a tour of the place. Choosing the Mylady Apartment for our short stay was definitely the best decision. The location is surely one of the best Location to stay for Shopping, Restaurants and going out. its quiet during day and night, the large sofa is super cosy and we were overwhelmed by the gadgets in each room... a curved TV in the reception, each bedroom has its own TV even with Apple TVs. Kitchen has everything you need. Great to have an electronic door lock which made us independent in coming home. The Apartment was very clean and comfortable, just as shown on the pictures. We enjoyed an exciting time in London. Thank you for your efforts Ika and team! we will surely come again!

The New Diorama Theatre is an 80-seat performance space located in central London, close to Great Portland Street, dedicated to presenting the work of theatre companies from straight theatre to comedy and opera. Stop at The Wheatsheaf on Rathbone Place and you'll be having a pint where people like George Orwell, Anthony Burgess and Dylan Thomas have stopped and supped before you. Framed copies of articles on the walls at the front of the bar allude to the pub's literary past. There's much to recommend this small pub which feels like not much has changed in the intervening years. There's some fantastic stain glass windows and wooden panelling as well as good cask ale. The upstairs space is home to comedy nights hosted by The 99 Club as well as monthly meetings of The New Sheridan Club (a decendent of The Chap magazine) and the Sohemian Society who meet here to read, talk and about famous Fitzrovian and Soho characters. The Wheatsheaf is well worth a visit to get away from the mayhem of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street.
