My family (husband and 2 teenage daughters) and I spent 9 relaxing vacation days at Villa Akasa Segara. Prior to coming to Bali we spent 4 busy days in Taipei so we just wanted to relax in Bali. We only took 2 days of sightseeing in Bali (which was very nice), but rest of the time we swam in the pool and ate delicious Balinese food that Iluh prepared for us. Iluh is villa's housekeeper who is also a cook. She is pretty fluent in English and we had a good and fun time talking with her. Her cooking is truly awesome and we were spoiled by her cooking purely Indonesian food for us. Putu is a gardener and pool maintenance person, he was so friendly and worked hard daily to keep the garden impeccably clean and beautiful. Aside from the roosters crowing pretty frequently during the early morning from the neighboring house (which also added a good feel of Bali) our time at this villa was wonderful. We definitely plan on coming back to Villa Akasa Segara again!
We stayed at Villa Akasa Segara for 10 days with 3 persons.
The Villa is located in the north of Bali which is not that touristic as e.g.
Seminyak in the south.
This was quite the right location for a relaxing and typical balinese
The staff in the Villa was very nice, always caring and helpful.
Asian especially indonesian food was really good but the european dishes were not that recommendable.
All in all this was a beautiful holiday and we can imagine coming back to Villa Akasa Segara one day.
We had a wonderful vacation at Villa Akasa Segara and recommend it to everybody! The welcome from the staff with the flowers on the beach, their taking care of us, the beautiful view, the swimming-pool. In few words: It was fantastic! It felt like paradise!
Our family, 2 adult and two teenagers aged 14 and 17, stayed at Villa Akasa Segara from july 23 until july 28. Before Lovina we had been busy in south Bali and had actually planned that we should be doing a lot of diving in Lovina. We went on one trip to Manjangan island (only snorkeling), a great trip, but rest of the time we were too lazy doing anything else than enjoying the house, the pool, the sunset and the lovely indonesian food made from Iluh. Iluh is the housekeeper and she makes sure that you feel comfortable from the minut you arrive. Her english is excellent and it is very educating listening to her when she explains about the balinese culture.
The house is located next to the rice fields and actually on the beach. There are few villas simmilar as Villa Akasa Segara on the same road, but also local people lives here and it is really nice not to be in a complete tourist center. Also the garden surrounding the house was perfect and Putu the gardener did a great job here. We were offered coconut and grapes from the three, very exotic.
Transport is included and the driver was nice and on time. Neck and shoulder massage is also included and it is a very good idea.
We will certainly recommend this villa to our friends and we hope to come back.
Dencarik is located minutes away from North Bali's tourist center, Lovina with shops, restaurants, spas, beach massages, dolphin tours and snorkeling. The historic harbor city of Singaraja is nearby with museums, fresh food market, schools, hospitals, banks and supermarkets. An hour to the west is Bali's National Park for trekking or visiting the Bird sanctuary with the Menjangan Island for diving and snorkeling part of the preserve. The Banjar Hot Springs, Gitgit waterfalls, Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist monastery, Hindu temples, rice paddies and grape vineyards are all near Villa Akasa Segara. Or just relax in your private garden oasis with beautiful tropical plants, ponds and private swimming pool with the beach and the Bali Sea to watch romantic sunsets.
