- Close to attractions
- Owner was available and addressed issues promptly.
- House was well heated
- Good sleeping accommodations
- Nice comforting gas fireplace
- Outdated decor
- Cooking utensils need updating, the pots are worn & food sticks easily
- Recreation room in complex has limited access
-Community pool was closed when I went due to pipe issues
- Would be nice to have some games available, Chess, Trivia, etc
- Weak Wifi signal
Very nice for the price. You wont be disappointed and should enjoy yourself. We went with three kids and despite a couple of issues had a good time. We brought some of our own games to play. The Wifi was an issue but the owner cleared it up nicely, but it still had a weak signal for our little hogs! Jacuzzi was nice overall but the kids couldn't take the chlorine smell. Not sure if this is normal or could be addressed. The three stars reflects an average home but again, pricing is everything and if you come to relax, your in good standing, if you come to party, your in good standing.
We had a great time, house was perfect!
House was clean with a very cool setup. A perfect mountain house for our family of 6, with our 4 kids ranging in age from 1-6. Thanks Paula!
No heat, dated, uncomfortable beds, owner did not answer any emails
It is unfortunate that I am writing this but our experience was not been favorable at this property. When we arrived, the driveway was not clear from snow. Trees were weighed down with ice and blocked the driveway. The steps were clear but there was no path to get to them. As we entered the place it was freezing. There were portable heaters on but they were not helping. After we settled in we noticed that there was no foosball table or poker table. Owner claimed that it broke but we were never notified. None of those things matter too much by themselves but putting them together, it was unpleasant. I understand that the weather the days prior made it a challenge but some of these things should had been managed better and communicated to us. Later in the evening, the house was still not warm and we were force to sleep in our ski gear for warmth. The beds were very uncomfortable and there were rules posted everywhere ( and if you didn't follow, you would be charged). We checked out early due to the lack of heat and the owner refused to provide a refund for part of our stay. The owner would not reply back to any of the emails and I eventually had to file a complaint just to get my deposit back. This place was nice but dated and needs to be updated and managed better. Camelback was amazing, definitely check it out Also the Barley Creek Brewery has a great menu for all meals. If you are skiing/snowboarding, rent outside the resort and save money.
Best relaxing house for sure!
It was amazing expirience! Paula is extreamely nice person! House is in perfect condition, very worm and nice decoroted. It was really wonderful stay!
Thanks so much for choosing my house . Be welcome anytime.
Wonderful family time away
Paula was incredibly responsive and has a beautiful place to stay. Enjoyed the campfire pit and time in the jacuzzi (note, there is no heater for the jacuzzi so it's pretty cold). Having a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, and dishes made packing a lot easier for us. We enjoyed a lot of quiet time on the balcony, but we were close enough to fill our week with ATV rides, visits to the skatepark, and shopping at the outlets. Close enough to Walmart to pick up necessary items and a planet fitness to keep up workouts through the week. Community center indoor pool is closed for repair and lake was closed due to elevated levels of bacteria. Otherwise, a great spot to plan as busy or as relaxing a week that fits for your family and Paula is great to work with!
Comfortable, clean and simple.
Paula was very friendly and informative before we checked in. We knew to bring our own extra towels. Overall the house was very clean and cozy for our girls weekend away. All 5 of us had comfortable beds. The jacuzzi was a great way to unwind each night and enjoying the scenery through the many large windows was a plus. The AC units did a great job of keeping the house cool.
