The Residence Belehradska 35 is located near the historical centre of Prague - only 3 tram stops from the Wenceslas Square (by tram no. 11 - just 6 minutes away). In close proximity (100 metres) you can find a big supermarket open from 8 a.m. till 9 p.m., seven days a week. All apartments are composed of at least one bedroom.
This was a very nice apartment not too far from the main attractions in Prague. It was an easy trip downtown via the tram system and was very easy to navigate. These apartments are run very much like a hotel - upon our arrival (via overnight train) at 9:00 a.m., we were told the apartment wouldn't be ready for several hours. But they did hold our luggage while we wandered around Prague (beautiful!) We also paid extra to have someone pick us up at the train station, which was super helpful and convenient.
The apartment was very spacious and easily accommodated 5 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we were allowed to use the washer and dryer in the basement, which was very convenient. The bedrooms were comfortable, however the upstairs rooms only had sunlights - no windows. It was very warm upstairs, and the sunlights provided some coolness when open, but when it was raining, you couldn't open the sunlights or the rain would come in, so it got quite warm upstairs.
There was no wifi in the apartment, but there was a computer in the hall that was available for all guests' use - convenient only when the children of the guests next door weren't abusing the privilege.
There is a little market just a few doors down, and full-blown supermarket up the street one tram stop. This was great for making food in the kitchen! The dining room was comfortable and the table had room for 6 people.
The only real problem we had was when the lock for the upstairs bathroom broke, while my sister was in the bathroom. She was trapped in there for over an hour, until a locksmith finally had to come and open the door. The lock was faulty, but originally, the owner asked us to pay the 500 CZK for the locksmith, saying my sister must have done something wrong. I explained that she had not - how hard is it to lock a door - and finally they relented and said we did not have to pay for the locksmith. Which was the right thing, but they should have never asked us to pay in the first place for something that was their responsibility.
Otherwise, the place was a very nice home for us during our stay in Prague and we enjoyed it very much!
The apartments are located in a very central part of the city. The district has two vineyards and you can reach the river Vltava and the Wenceslas sq. within a few minutes walking distance.
