Home sleeps a maximum of 8 guests. NO COLLEGE OR HIGH SCHOOL GROUPS ALLOWED. Families only. Relax on the covered deck with family and friends while watching the sun set on the beautiful Lagoon. Private Pier available. The beautiful Gulf of Mexico is across the street. Barbecue and picnic outside or take advantage of the wonderful fresh seafood available in the area. Our fully equipped kitchen will make preparing this wonderful seafood a breeze. Enjoy cycling, walking or running...biking/walking lanes are available on beach road. Smart TV’s are provided for streaming your favorite shows. WIFI available.

Small private white sandy beach with pier is exclusively available for our guests. So, take your lounge chair and catch some rays while the gentle waves lap at your feet. Area is great for kayaking and other small beach craft. Private outdoor shower.

Two bedrooms open up to a balcony/deck with seating, facing the beach side with Gulf view. Large deck area also facing Lagoon with outdoor furniture and a large bed swing where you can relax and enjoy watching the sea gulls, pelicans, ducks and our resident friendly blue heron, Henry!!!

Mermaids Lair

This home was lovely, well outfitted and convenient to all Gulf Shores has to offer. There were 8 in our group (4yrs-56yrs) and we had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, Wi-Fi worked great. The outside lagoon/fishing pier was so fun. We “hunted” hermit crabs and enjoyed watching Henry our resident Herron. The deck swing made the sunrise and sunset watching perfect! The beach is just across the street, easily accessible. We will definitely stay again.

5-Star Stay at Mermaid's Lair!

A stay at 'Mermaid's Lair' is an unforgettable experience! This 4-bedroom waterfront house in Gulf Shores, Alabama, is beautifully remodeled and spacious, comfortably accommodating eight guests. Bedrooms are inviting, each with well-thought-out arrangements including a king bed, two queens, and two singles. The modern bathrooms cater to all preferences, with one shower and one combination tub/shower. The living room, kitchen, and deck/patio provide ideal spaces for relaxation and socializing, with the deck offering tranquil waterfront views. Essential amenities like air conditioning, washer/dryer, TV, internet, and parking make for a seamless stay. The location is a bonus. A stone's throw from beaches and local attractions, it offers a plethora of entertainment options. Host Laura Hart's attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction add to the charm of the property. Though bookings are non-refundable, the exceptional quality justifies it. In summary, Mermaid's Lair is a splendid find, blending comfort with adventure. Five stars well deserved!

Mermaids Lair

We loved the property! It was perfect for our family. Sitting on the porch watching the sunset was wonderful. Loved the decor and the owner has thought of everything you need for a great vacation. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

Relaxing

We loved every second of our week! Easy to communicate with the owners if we needed something . I would recommend bringing vinegar for jellyfish and a blower to blow sand off the deck we swept 14 millions time with having 3 little ones back and forth 🙄.. we had a blast !!
