Stay with us and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Loch Ness area. We are situated 3 miles from the village of Drumnadrochit which is on the west side of Loch Ness 14 miles south of the city of Inverness. The village has several hotels and pubs, restaurants, shops, Post Office and Bank and is home to 2 Loch Ness Monster Exhibitions. Our spacious quality holiday lodges (STB graded 4 star) are set high on the hillside above Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness offering very comfortable accommodation for a refuge of peace and tranquillity or a convenient base for touring, walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, golfing or horse riding. No Smoking or Pets. The Type B lodges have patio doors and windows looking out over Loch Ness below. Type A Lodges have mountain and countryside views. All lodges sleep 6 guests in 1 Twin and 2 Double Bedrooms.

Rates quoted are for 1/2 guests with a supplement of £10 per additional guest per night.

Maximum occupancy and price 6 including children (but can be plus an infant).

Electricity is by £1 Coin meter after first £10 included.

All heating, lighting and cooking is by electricity, for economy and environmental purposes you only pay for what you use by way of coin operated £1 meter - to provide hot water and heating prior to arrival the first £10 is included in the rental. Whichever beds are required should be ordered on booking and will then be freshly made up for your arrival and all bed linen (fresh pillow cases, sheets and duvet covers) is supplied (except cots) together with towels (One Bath & One Hand towel per person per stay - there is a washer / dryer in each lodge plus outdoor drying facilities) . Parking available for 2/3 cars at the lodge - guests' cars can park alongside the lodge. The lodge is all on one level internally but for our less agile guests we would point out that there are two steps at both the main and patio doors. No pets are allowed and the lodge is No Smoking but guests may smoke outside the lodge provided that cigarette butts are not thoughtlessly discarded.

We stayed in Lodge 3 which has a stunning view over Loch Ness from the lounge window & the patio area. It is secluded and quiet, beautifully furnished, surprisingly spacious & very well equipped. Do bring bird nuts for the feeder outside the window! There are a couple of highly recommended pubs in the village; the kitchen is also fine for self-catering.

Sehr schöner Ausblick. Haus ist in Ordnung. Nur der der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist ziemlich schwach. Auch Mischbatterien wären von Vorteil.

Trotzdem, dass unser Urlaub inzwischen schon 2 Monate zurückliegt, denken wir noch sehr oft an den tollen Aufenthalt in Drumnadrochit. Die Unterkunft war perfekt ausgestattet und super sauber, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Unser Vermieter Alan hat uns am Samstagabend sehr herzlich empfangen und war bei Fragen stets zur Stelle. Wir verbrachten eine Woche in Lodge Nr. 4 – die Lager für ruhesuchende einfach perfekt, Erholung pur umgeben von der tollen Natur mit Blick auf Loch Ness. Wir haben diese Unterkunft aufgrund der super Lage gebucht. Es war eine perfekte Basis für unsere Tagesausflüge in Ost, West und in den Norden. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, einfach top. Wir werden irgendwann wieder kommen .

Erholung pur, immerwieder gerne !

Allan Spence, unser Vermieter hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt, die Lodge gezeigt und uns Tips für unseren Urlaub gegeben.

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, supersauber und kofortabel.

Aber das Allerschönste ist die phantastische Aussicht ins Land und in die Berge.

Eindrücke wechseln in Minuten. Diese unvorstellbare Stille. Wer die Natur liebt, Erholung pur. Einer unserer schönsten Urlaube, immerwieder gerne.

Loch Ness, and its most famous resident 'Nessie' the Loch Ness Monster, has become one of the

most famous lochs (or lakes) in the world. It's the largest loch in Britain by volume of water at 39km long with an average depth of 132m & its deepest point is 320m near Urquhart Castle. It holds more fresh water than all the lakes and reservoirs in England and Wales put together. BUT there is more to the area than just our famous loch and its elusive monster - Drumnadrochit is home to two monster exhibitions and the historical Urquhart Castle is nearby as is the Corrimony Chambered burial cairn in Glenurquhart. The Great Glen itself provides fantastic scenery and Drumnadrochit is a centre from which the whole of the North of Scotland can be explored - West perhaps to Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye, North to visit Dunrobin Castle or Castle of Mey or even over the sea on a day trip to Orkney, East to Speyside which is Whisky Country or South to visit Cairngorms National Park.
