Week in Lisbon

This apartment was nice overall. The location was great with the Tran 28 line being right outside the building. The apartment is a little dated compared to the pictures and the furniture situation is not quite as described. We were three adults and could only have had one more person with a bed (shared). The other bed and futon were for children. Having two bathrooms was great as the one was pretty tight (with a very small tub), so the other one could be used for makeup, etc. Since not much time was spent in the apartment, it was fine for our visit to Lisbon. Would recommend due to the location.

A chance to stay in a real neighbourhood in a classical old building with modern conveniences

Joana's apartment is a real bit of old Lisbon, high ceilings, huge doors, even a narrow balcony running the length of dining room, lounge, and 2 bedrooms. Really well equipped for eating in, but who wants to in Lisbon? Historic No.28 tram leaves from just down the road and drops you outside the front door coming back, approx 15-minute ride. I had my wallet stolen on this tram so beware and keep your hands on your valuables. Better still, don't take too much with you, especially credit cards. It's a busy road 3 floors down, but double-glazed doors block most of it out. Would we go again? Yes please. Joana us a very helpful host.

Great Apartment in Great Location

Hope to return to exactly this apartment in Lisbon. Really enjoyed this neighbourhood, and the ability to shop around the corner for groceries. Convenient to the downtown core, but not right in the middle of it all. View of the water from the balcony, grand rooms and details. Loved all the visual art and quirky styling here - very much our aesthetic too. Our host Joanna was very helpful before and during our stay. Loved Lisbon and the chance to live here for a week. Thank you!

clean, contemporary, art and music

I loved this apartment, clean, contemporary, art and music are a strong feature, a really cool pad, with loads of space, great wifi and TV, excellent bathroom and large kitchen, with good quality beds. The hosting was exceptional, gold stars all round, really helpful, giving lots of advice and answers to questions via email. You will be 30 minutes walk and train ride from glorious clean beaches and only 20 minutes pleasant stroll from the centre. Good shops close to the apartment and good bus links. Tram 28 runs past the apartment and the bedrooms over look the main street, so you will be aware of this authentic sound of Lisbon which was a back ground noise I became used to and enjoyed. This is a great place to stay all round

What a great apartment, stylish and in a great location with friendly and informative owners, thanks Miguel and Joana. The instruments are a great touch. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, there was lots of entertainment in the apartment for the teenagers. It's a 10 minute walk to get to the west side of the old city but The number 28 tram goes right past the entrance if you want to take it. Lots of good local restaurants that are really good value and very welcoming. A great place to stay and a wonderful city.

Close to Bairro Alto, one of the most typical zone of Lisbon, with several restaurants, bars and shops. Don't need car. Very close of different types of public transportation that can take you to all Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais.
