The entire home, including laundry, 2 car detached garage, bikes for guest use. Back yard has large deck and large Gas BBQ grill. Fully fenced yard. Close to downtown, Sloan's lake, Empower Field at Mile High/Broncos, Coors field, Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Lovely tree lined street. People walking their dogs to Sloan's lake park. Everyone is friendly and active. 1 mile to Empower Field at Mile High and 1.5 miles to downtown Denver, but the lake is lovely and quiet and you can stroll the paths and enjoy the tranquility of the area. Family friendly neighborhood. Tennis courts, basketball courts, and children playground areas around the lake - as well as BBQ pits and picnic benches.
Easily access public transportation, bus lines and trains. 2 adult bikes, helmets, tire pump, and bike lock available for guest use. Car is not totally necessary, but good to have. Parking in 2 car detached garage or street parking.
Please NO SMOKING INSIDE the premises. 420 Friendly ~ OUTSIDE SMOKING ONLY~ VAPOR ONLY INSIDE ~ Guests may be charged $500 or more if evidence of smoking is found inside the home.

Great Location

This house is just steps from Sloan's Lake Park and in a fun neighborhood. Restaurants and stores nearby. Janna was always quick to respond to questions and requests. She was an excellent host. The house was perfect for my month long stay and the kitchen well stocked with everything needed for cooking and baking.

Close but not too close

Very cute, close to the city, but just far enough to not feel “city.” Lots of restaurants CLOSE by. Just as described. Perfect

Sloan Lake

Stayed a month in Denver’s Sloan Lake neighborhood. Think a combination of Chicago’s “West Loop” and “Lincoln Park”. Vibrant dog friendly, community with fun bars, restaurants, Lake activities, stunning city views and close to city center. As in most inner city “Gentrification” phases, real estate prices are very high. New construction is taking place and property values are exploding. “Curb Appeal” is somewhat variable as this transition continues. Our duplex was somewhat “unkept” on the exterior; overgrown bushes, uprooted trees and little lawn care. Janna did visit with her landscaper when we arrived to improve the property but it was not started during our visit. We did our best to make the yard and deck usable. The interior was perfect! Great layout with two well appointed bedroom suites, new appliances, and well stocked kitchen. Great WiFi, (Alexa thanks you) easy and updated TV choices. Felt like home in a very short time. Would like to return and highly recommend this property.

Vacation in the mountains

We were thrilled with our stay!! The house was very clean and had more than enough room for us. The location was perfect for our adventures. Communication was excellent with the manager. A+ all around, would recommend to anyone!!

Lovely Home away from Home

Great experience all around, no complaints. We stayed in winter but with all the back patio and front balcony, would be nice any season. Loved the house and perfect location close to lots of restaurants and retail. 1.5 hour away from Rocky Mountain National Park.

Highlands/Sloan's Lake is the best location in the Denver area. Here you have the best of both worlds; location to Mountains, DIA, Boulder, and downtown Denver and yet you feel like you are in the suburbs as it is so quiet and peaceful!

What makes this property unique

You will love this home. It is so comfy and cozy. When you walk in, you instantly feel welcome with the double-sided fireplace, the wonderful Gazebo out back, sip your coffee on the balcony's lake views.The neighborhood is safe, quiet, with mature trees! You will never know that you are pretty much in the heart of the city!
