Villa Vista is a spacious and luxurious 3 bedroom detached villa occupying an elevated position, with views across open countryside. Villa Vista has been recently furnished with modern furniture and decoration, with attractive landscaped gardens. Villa Vista comfortably accommodates 6 people, in three large bedrooms. The Villa has a spacious living and dining room which overlooks the perfect view across the countryside. The villa has a large south facing patio with a good sized private swimming pool (approx 8x4m) and unobstructed views across open countryside. There is secured parking for 2 vehicles. Villa Vista is located on the edge of the small village of Montizana, just 10 min drive from the coastal resort of Zelena Laguna, 15 min drive from Porec and within easy reach of Adriatic coastal towns and hilltop villages. Shops and several excellent restaurants are just a few minutes drive away.

Outside: The villa has a patio featuring a private 8x4m swimming pool. Outdoor split level patio furniture and sun beds are provided and seperate BBQ / dining terrace. The property occupies a quiet and secluded position, amongst a handful of other villas, yet is only a short drive from the coast and other attractions.

Coast Beach: Beautiful beaches are located in small coves along the coast within a 10 minute drive. Many are rocky with swimming platforms that extend out into the sea. Southward along the forested coastline are the resorts of Zelena Laguna and Plava Laguna, as well as Marinas at Vrsar and Funtana.

Travel: A number of low-cost airlines serve the region.

Very fine location
The property is ideally situated, on the top of a hill of a tiny hamlet, with a magnificent view. It is very quiet and close to Poreč (10 min drive) and Rovinj (20 min drive). The owner Robert is a very kind and flexible man, extremely well organized and helpful. You get a lot of information in advance. We had a problem with our car the day of our departure and Robert allowed us to stay longer in the house than foreseen, which we appreciated very much! The house itself is fully equipped and has a nice warm water pool. Our kids enjoyed it a lot. I can really recommend this place!

Montizana Robert House
The general experience is very positive. All the facilities (rooms, bathrooms, pool, terrace) were very clean. The kids (3 + 6 years) enjoyed the swimming pool. There is a lot of privacy for the stay. There is a very nice view from the pool to the hills practically to Porec. One can find everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. In spite of very hot temperatures outside the air conditioning kept the house calm. The supermarkets are 5-10 min drive away from the house. In general, we can recommend the stay here and I can imagine that we can come back. We found WLAN good enough to watch the NETFLIX though there are plenty of DVD’S and table games. Only a few things could be improved: It would be nice to have the PDF’ map from the “top” of how to get to the house. In spite of google map from FeWo-direct the direction/description is not an absolutely correct and easy to follow. If one comes in the night one can have a big problem. The last 50 meters is graved road. The oven is somewhat old so that it was not clear for us if one is at min./max heat. We really did not use the room in the basement but it could be a little dangerous with kids as from one side the stairs are opened. Another Guest wrote the same. I must admit that parking is not as easy at the foreseen parking lot but one could leave the car in front of the entrance gate. I hope it could be of use…

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter lief über Whatsup ( wir können leider kein Englisch). Was super lief. Ja es waren Hunde zu hören (wurde von anderen Urlaubern als negativ aufgeführt) wir haben auch mal Schafe und Ziegen gesehen/gehört und auch einen Esel. Ja aber das gehört doch zur Ländlichen Gegend. Das gehört dahin. Uns hat es mega gefallen.

Een heerlijk vakantie huis
Het is een heel fijn vakantie huis waar je je welkom voelt, het is heel schoon , alles is aanwezig! Het uitzicht is mooi. Veel privacy. Het huis ligt heel rustig maar toch heel vlakbij de bekende stadjes. Een aanrader voor iedereen die niet in de drukte wil zitten maar deze wel wil opzoeken .

Super verblijf, erg genoten.
Ruim en erg schoon huis, met een prachtig uitzicht. Na een fietstocht was het heerlijk om even het zwembad in te duiken. Eigenaar ontmoet en was erg vriendelijk. Elke dag werd het zwembad gecontroleerd. De omgeving was bekend en blijft verrassen. Kortom we hebben genoten!!

We love Croatia. The unspoiled nature is a welcome retreat from other Mediterranean destinations. The scenery is amazing. The food delicious, and still great value.

Why they chose this property

Petra's father came to England from the former Yugoslavia in the 1960's. As a result Petra spent many long family summers in Croatia while growing up. We wanted to share this experience with our own family and friends, so bought a property. Because we holiday there ourselves, we've invested alot of time and effort in making the villa as family friendly as possible. We know the area very well and all our guest book recommendations are from first hand experience. It's near to Porec, yet far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle.

What makes this property unique

Usually a gin and tonic/beer while the sun sets! The view is very special and Montizana is near to many points of interest. Also a great way to visit Venice. A calm and special place to take a break.
